Still too much jank in the trailer.

Voiceover bloke may as well just say "we've made a game built around all the stupid shit normtards want in their games now too"

I do like the look of some of the armour sets though, very nice.

The only thing I don't like about the sequel so far is how protagonist looks like. I mean, in the first Elex he looked like this beefy dude, and in this game they changed something and he looks a lot skinnier and younger. Immersion breaking.

Not just the protagonist. I think most of the characters look terrible especially their faces.

Not that I really care. I don't play PB's games for the facial animations.

Trolling 24/7 currently in all the Dark Souls groups how Elden Ring is gonna be some casual fun to play over the weekend while waiting for the real game, ELEX II.

Is it just me or did everyone's skin became darker?

ELEX I was mostly central Europe skin you could see before fall of iron curtain in czech repubilic or germany. But, this looks like someone took original characters, and switched them with Latin America cosplayers.

Can't comment on gameplay because the trailer showed no gameplay... But, this character is quite scary. https://youtu.be/IvhW4BHjdHg?t=129

Well, I have learned that now you can place markers on the map. In ELEX I had to stitch together my own map in Inkscape, then keep Alt-Tabbing back and forth to maintain my notes which was a bit inconvenient.

Otherwise, the trailer is fine, the animations are fine, and so are the facial expressions FOR A GAME. You can always go and watch a movie, you know...

My only wish is for the quests to be entirely completable following only instructions given by NPCs (that was not always possible with the all GPS stuff turned off in the first game).

Could just be different shaders and lighting, honestly.

Besides, you'd expect people in that world to have a darker skin tone from exposure to sunlight alone. No real reason there would be a lot of pale bastards like me around, people can't really sit around sheltered all day long in that setting.

The Albs and Clerics were pale, but that's because they're enclosed in armor or in sci fi structures all day. The berserkers and outlaws were darker, yeah.

I was going to link an image of albino negroes with thick lips etc., and comment on whether we'd see Albs like that now that there's negroes in Magalan. But I decided not to be racist today!

Have gamers become so stupid that they need explaining what a RPG is?
