Here you go:

screenshot_005_00000.jpg

Without Mind Shield his telepathic attack is gonna hurt but you have a decent chance to dodge his first melee one if you maxed out the skill (I even got lucky here and counter-attacked him).

screenshot_005_00001.jpg

Use Eagle Eye Neurostimulant next if you have it (I think I received mine from Carrinas after killing Antidas but not sure) to boost your AP and hit chance.

Hit his arms to fuck up his aim.

Then proceed to grind him down with fast attacks.

The build is a standard retard killing machine (I made it mostly to test how many bodies I can pile up in a single playthrough, had great fun with it). Hammer skill is just for sinergy purposes, it boosted my attack rating by around 20 which greatly helped against Agatoth as he's a slippery fucker. Alternatively you could put points in lore instead and use Power Armor.

Awesome build, I'll have to try it in a future playthrough, for my first one I rolled with sword & shield so the damage output is pretty low and blocking doesn't really do that much against him. How'd you get to such a big body count? I've only got up to about 100 despite trying to do as many quests as possible.

So I hear there is an ending where you blow everything up. Can someone give me a hint how to get it and which guild/path you need?

You can blow up maadoran if you manage to get into the abyss and have at least 7 CON.

What's up with the Monastery, why can't I just speak with the villagers and defeat raiders with their help?

Lol I even got blocked from quest cause I tried to go back to Maadoran and find someone to help me (like my new friend Kemnebi or my guild of murderers). Very bad options there.

You know what would be the most logical badass option for spending money in this super logical and brutal and fair game? Hiring some fucking guys with swords to protect you and kill shit for you.

Where is this monastery people talk about, what path do you need to do to see this place? I quit my TG run after Maadoran, is that the one?

The quest is tied to the arena, I got it after visiting the healer twice after successfully beating my opponent in the arena.

Lol, it's amazing that I missed that because I was slathering myself in cheap cassava juice instead of coughing up 60 bucks for healing while I had thousands of RPG econobucks in my pocket

Ahaha, Meltiades is too much fun. A Game of Thrones material, I am happy I'm following his quest line still.

I wish I could become a noble though, since game so far lacks in character motivation to kill/steal/trade except just for the challenge of surviving itself or metaing/combatfagging.

WHAT THE FUCK?

What paths can you take that get you to the Darius' Tomb mission? The only ones I know are immediately working for Gaelian as a Praetor or as someone that fixes the smelter for the Aurelians. Also what perception/other stats do you need to get into the secret part of the tomb? I got in with a 10str and 7 or 8 perception I think, but what are the minimums?

That armor in the tomb is crazy good - it's 10AP 10 armor penalty blue steel praetorian armor IIRC.

I'm starting to think that perception 8 is the way to go. I feel like I'm failing every check with 7.

Yes. It is known that most of the PER checks you encounter, at least in the first half of the game, are PER 8.

Doh, wish I had known that, I would have dropped it to 6 on my current warrior build and gone for char or int 7.

I was hoping for better rewards tho. Armor is not even augmented :neveraskedforthis: I think I'll be able to forge a better one.
Helmet is wonderful tho.

Oh lol he had 20 of these chakrams, that's a shitton of new metal to work with. K awesum.

Does anyone use shields heavier than Buckler btw? I tried Cavalry but can't feel a lot of difference.

Spoiler question about House Daratan - Ending spoilers being asked for and one being spoiled -

Is there a Daratan questline to follow in Gonorrhea? Also apart from the thor-agoth ending using him as the pawn, does the guy ever win in any ending at all?

EDIT -

More ending shit -

In Thor-Agoth's chamber, you touch the crystal to raise the bridge. Theres also a lore+craft(? i think) check that if you succeed says some thing about holes at the bottom or some such, but otherwise has no effect at all.

What is that for? Which item goes into that hole?

I was able to pour some of the sludge in there that I found in the medical facility, presumably it weakens him some more.

Which of the Teron questlines don't end with you being forced to flee Teron? I was thinking of doing a Loremaster thing where I fix the smelter for Aurelian to trigger the "second chapter" but it would be nice to get the skillpoints for finishing a Teron questline first. Not including a Praetor start because you can easily switch to Aurelian Praetor in that one anyway.

I kind of remember not being forced to flee Teron after finishing the Boatman questline? Am I right? Also maybe Commercium? I'm sure IG and Thieves don't let you finish the whole questline without forcing you to go to Maadoran.

Armour is augmented, it is just treated like a unique. If you look at the stats, you can see it has max AP 11 so it's been lightened, hardness has been increased, I think that's it.

He stalemates with Crassus indefinitely in his best non-goddish ending while the IG stands aside to let them fight. You get it by sabotaging Serenas in the Maandoran chapter and reporting back to Teron after meeting with Meru (he asks you to blow up the entrance to Al-Akia - you don't even have to go into it - then it's back to the standard find-the-temple). There's no way I know to destroy Crassus totally by getting Ganezzar invaded by IG or something, the Daratan guy just isn't interested in grand backstabbing shit like that. It would be cool if he were kind of horrified to learn how you took down Gaelian and Serenas in such non-King Arthurish ways.

I did the commercium questline, you can do everything up until convincing Mercato to join House Daratan. You cannot really finish any of the questlines, they all send you to Maadoran eventually. It's more about finding a faction that allows you to join in the first place. Thieves require you to have some skill in steal, the assassins require you to have a body count (killing cassius might work, but its not an easy fight for a loremaster with 0 combat skills), for the imperial guard you need to have a decent amount of strength so you're left with house daratan or the commercium.

Cassius does work as your 1 body count to join the Boatmen. Plus you can get 10 crit strike training without triggering the point-of-no-return for them, so that's an option.

Can you actually join Daratan and do the whole Praetor questline if you start with a character that has no faction?

When I did that quest last it didn't move me to Maadoran afterwards. The conversation option came up to say I was going to Maadoran, but it doesn't teleport you there, so you can still head to the mines first.

Only alternative solution? What? Dead river isn't the only way to get to the temple, so I don't really see the issue here. You can do the gem, the scorpions, the hacking, or the different paths through hellgate.

That said, if you don't know where dead river goes then I understand your frustration. Be aware that it is just one of several ways to the temple.

If I can't convince Hector to attack darganas for miltiades, then is that the end of that? Or will miltiades come up with a plan b?
