Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
Some really disappointing takes and reactions going on in here, but it's not surprising. Pretty typical response, and something I'm sure they're anticipating. Good on them for trying something different despite the intense pressure to keep making very similar games one after another.
My take is "not interested", how is it disappointing? I'm not shitting on the game, it's just this genre is not my thing and never will be.

For what it's worth I'm glad they made this, FS is jam packed with super creative, talented people and those need to change the scenery from time to time, cleanse their palate, otherwise they'll burn out. As much as I liked Elden Ring it didn't feel as joyous and full of enthusiasm as DeS, DS1 or BB.

I'll sit this one out but it's gonna do FS some good.

Yours was only vaguely one of the comments I was referring to. If dark mech action isn't your bag, so be it. That said, I would always urge someone to be open to trying something new, or that's out of their established genre preferences, particularly if it's from a studio you've been a big fan of in the past.

It seems everyone has played the series.
My guess is a lot of people played the first one on PSX, which was pretty cool at the time so it stuck in the back of people's minds.
It's not that all of a sudden everyone has played them - there's awful lot of them, some of them had the benefit of coming out very early in PS2's lifetime, late ones came out around the time Souls brand was already becoming big and there was growing interest in From in general - it's more that it's like everyone is an experienced expert on them now. But I guess this is something that'll happen whenever some long running series receives a revival that garners more publicity.

After playing DS1 I bought ACFA for the PS3, that´s the first time I played AC. After that I also tried AC3 and others PS2, PSP titles.

I was excited over this game, but hearing that they removed the dept mechanic and focus more on close combat make it a bit unappealing for me. I've been playing a lot of Vagrus - The Riven Realms recently so were really looking forward to that aspect. Also still a bit butthurt over Elden Ring, loved the early game but it took a noose dive later in the game, I only managed to stomach one playthrough then I missed Outward hardcore exploration/survival mechanics if we are going to be playing an open world game. But I will watch the video you linked Jinn.

Not a ton new to see there besides PvP (which was pretty cool, but not my main draw), but it was nice seeing some people play the game live, and in particular to get some more time to check out the garage.

I just want to play it. Now.

I hope they add more flashing lights and particles in the release version, I can still sort make out some of what's going on in combat when I squint and press my nose to the screen. Too easy.
