Only 3 million in a year? Wow, that's really fucking bad. If FS was a normal retarded Western company we'd never see another AC game ever again.
Like DD 2, AC 6 only had 60 something programmers so I imagine it's already fairly profitable. Triple A studios just need to learn how to trim the fat from their staff or at least keep on outsourcing it to eastern europe and india.

Assuming they do the smart, traditional FS thing of recycling a ton of the assets from AC6 into an expansion/sequel, the series could do quite well for itself. That said, I'm honestly not all that hyped about it. AC6 had more souls DNA in it than AC, and while it's good enough as it's own standalone thing, it didn't scratch my itch for ponderous mech combat with a bunch of sim elements taking priority over trendy gameplay.
