Did anything ever happen with the "it's all a virtual reality" thing in Assassin's Creed? I only played a bit of the first one and assumed it was heading for a full game in that future setting, doesn't look like it's happened yet based on the trailers. Did they drop that device?

Strap Yourselves In Serpent in the Staglands Shadorwun: Hong Kong Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
Appearantly, there is a real historical viking tradition behind this. I am sure they will do it justice and there will absolutely no cringe be involved
Remember reading something similar in Burning Njal, or was it in the story of Red Orm?

Were they called the "Dark Ages" because the fashion designers of the time were so keen on black fur trim?

The trailer is getting bombarded by dislikes on Xbox and Ubisoft channels, because there's actually no "gameplay" there.

I don't really understand why they are doing this Odyssey's reveal trailer had more gameplay than this

Seems Ubi is still scared after Breakpoint's massive comercial failure.

Probably they want to reveal things step by step. Since E3 is no more and we now have this series of digital events across the Summer.

Still labeling it as "gameplay" trailer was a mistake.

In other news: Assassins Creed Valhalla will have rap battles as gameplay feature

What ? You mean rape battles !

"The gap between the reality of Norse society and the image we have of the reckless Viking was really interesting to me. They were a fascinating society in terms of culture and pretty fair in the way they treated women, who had important rights at the time. It was certainly contradictory to the common image we have of Vikings," Noël told Ubisoft.

Arrrr, not again !

Well, pretty much to mask the fact that it's essentially the same game as Odyssey? I mean, it won't come as a surprise to anyone, but it's the right thing to do, marketing wise.

Desmond died in ass creed 3, afterwards each game is about a commercial product that Abstergo sells in which regular people can hook themselves to a computer and go to vacation and live the lives of their ancestors, at least that's kind of what ass creed 4 was like.

Make the Codex Great Again!
It is telling that the spergs care more about this meta-"story" than Ubi does. It's the kind of story only spergs care about, not chads in marketing.

Though they're smart enough to keep the crumbles falling so the spergs can continue sperging over nothing.

Asscreed is not about this meta-plot. It's about being relevant in AAA gaming and making Ubi some megabucks. To that end, Ubi will do anything it needs.

In reality Asscreed is no more, AC Origins was a new frachise for all intents and purposes. It's just a name now and if it makes Ubi money, it's doing what it's supposed to be doing. If you're sperging about DNA memories, you're doing it wrong.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
Dropping truth bombs on Valhalla.

Btw I totally didn't figured out the refugees party line Ubi will probably go for. But yeah, this guy is likely right - Vikings are just peaceful refugees that have as much right to live in England as the Saxons. And Alfred is basically Drumpf, barring them from coming.

Can't trust a video where its viewers believe ass creed 1 was fantastic
