And the retard is still at it even after I stated I was specifically talking about the level and enviromental design.
Yet I am the one with reading comprehension problems, kek.

Yes the entire meta narrative should be

it's so bad it causes Dan Brown to cringe.

Quoting the retard:

As in the locations and enviroments are well designed and that they are historically authentic - i.e. they are a good representation of what the real thing could've looked like based on our current best understanding.

"Altair's Apple retrieved by Ezio, Papal's Staff, Abstergo time-travel device, Crystal Skulls, ring deflecting bullets and more"

Altair's Apple and papal staff work by manipulating bio-receptors placed in the brain, the Animus isn't time travel (you can only experience the memories of your ancestors encoded in your DNA, you can't manipulate them or change them), the Crystal Skull was retarded, ring deflected bullets by creating a magnetic barrier/shield, etc... So, science fiction.

I am not discussing if they are logical or not because logic was out of window when Warren Vidic discussed technicalities of Animus in first game comparing encoded ancestor's memories in DNA to birds instict and how they learn to fly. I am not discussing how they work but where they ended up after their usage in different games. Also Warren Vidic I believe mentions in one of the emails they have a time-travel machine proper but locked away for safety reasons - so no one goes back or forward (but that probably is a plot-device used by the developers who do not want to have DC Flashpoint in their franchise or some sort). But maybe they will use it as Layla has HR-8 Animus capable of time manipulations as pointed out by Precursor messages in Atlantis Archives.

It's going to be full of overt and subtle left-wing propaganda and historical revisionism.
https://www.gamespot.com/articles/historian-talks-assassins-creed-valhallas-women-wa/1100-6476729/?PostType=image&ftag=ftag=GSS-05-10aab8e&ServiceType=twitter&TheTime=2020-05-01T21:30:51&UniqueID=07D87B02-8BF3-11EA-915A-7ECE96E8478F Article the director Ashraf Ismail posted on twitter.
Quotes from article,
"In Valhalla, your character Eivor (pronounced "Ay-vor") can be a man or a woman. Noel said that there is no clear answer for whether women were warriors in Norse culture, but their mythology was full of formidable women and so they incorporated that into the story. Eivor starts by leaving their homeland to discover a new settlement, and in the actual historical record, the Vikings carved through a divided England."

"At that time, England was a multiethnic society. It was dominated by the Anglo-Saxons, but there were also Britons, descendants of Ancient Rome, and many others," he said. "It was a wealthy land, but it was a divided land, especially between rival Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. This was all very appealing for the Vikings, who took advantage of the situation of a divided England."

I can't imagine how the plot will be anything but bland feminized shit or incomprehensible with the main character being either male or female as an option. Also England was very multi-ethnic, I didn't see any brownfolk in the trailer I'll bet descendants of ancient Rome is going to mean dark age Briton was racially diverse.

I think the subtle propaganda going on here is the Vikings weren't just violent conquerors, but instead peaceful settlers. E.g. in the modern age Muslim settlers in modern UK are just peaceful settlers so don't have a problem with them.

If you scroll down far enough Ashraf Ismail's twitter there's a couple posts of him complaining about Islamophobia.

Your most famous TV shows constantly pull that distorted shit without repercussions what so ever, so why not game devs? It is not like anyone is going to complain, western masses will still consume it as crazy and see it as the new historical truth.

Not to be that guy, I mean it *is* blatant propaganda, but the Vikings for the majority of the time, made their living through trade and fishing. Raiding, like horned helmets and so on, is something that's popular culture has exaggerated.

I think the repercussions are that people often ignore such shows these days. That explains the decline in box office and viewing numbers for alot of this diversity propaganda. I'm actually interested in watching Sir Lancelot because it must contain some severe but distorted adaptation of the literature since Lancelot betrayed Arthur by fucking his wife and killed, Gareth and Gaheris. Yet the show is called The Most Gallant Knight. The common westerner knows something is wrong, but is so instilled with white guilt they're too cowardly to respond.

Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture
Isn't the entire point of the series that the world is run by a secret society that wants to create a perfect society (that would probably involve absolute multiethnicity and multiculturalism)?

lol folks, shouldn't you save your race war screeds for a game where you don't play as a fucking Viking?

I mean if you're unhappy with the subject material I'm sure Ubisoft can serve up an Assassin's Creed: Al-Andalus next year (guess who the good guys are going to be there). Or how about Assassin's Creed: Zulu set in 19th century South Africa, I bet you'll love that.

I'd unironically like Assassin's Creed: Rorke's Drift, where we'd no doubt play as the good guysTM

Keeping an open mind, Origins was a fun and competent game. Great setting, beautiful world, entertaining combat, decent stealth and parcours options and serviceable story. Not groundbreaking but I found it quite entertaining. Haven’t played any of the other games.

The best subversion is something your enemy agrees with entirely. It is so subtle, that it sides with you, and you view it as an ally who is merely in error. Then over time the pattern shifts until BAM! The Trojan Horse is through the gates.

Both settings would be more interesting than Vikings, I have Vikings / Norse fatigue. At least an Al-Andalus setting would have some climbable cityscapes (Córdoba > some tiny ass English hamlet). Sure, the Ubisofts treatment would be atrocious or at least predictable, but the big conflict of Christians versus Muslims, which often takes a back-seat to alliances of convenience between Christian and Muslim rulers for their immediate ambitions is interesting. And like in Origins, you could have lords of one culture ruling over subjects of a different culture / religion. And lots of inner-faction conflicts (Berbers vs. Arabs) and backstabbing.

In jewish tradition, Al-Andalus seems to bee seen as a Golden age for the jews in Europe, while in the islamophobic critical scene, its treatment of the jews is seen way more negative, which could also lead to some interesting stories.

Now I remember why I designated Atlantico a certified retard years ago.

The Witcher 3 writing blows, just like Assassin's Creed writing does. So suck it bitch and go identify with a computer game like the autist you are, sunshine.

You're literally proving my point

Look, you don't speak very good English and are a bit thick, so I don't want to continue humiliating you. It's just not fair and way too easy.

It was really sad and quite pathetic when you backtracked on the historicity and went to defending the gameplay, something I never mentioned once.

At least an Al-Andalus setting would have some climbable cityscape

I guess to some people, the AC series is just about climbing things. I totally get the Viking fatigue, but this is the umpteenth game in a series of climbing things. Perhaps it's time to move on from that.

I'd rather have Vikings as portrayed by a Canadian allahuakbar than Moors depicted by UbiSJWs. The very thought just makes my skin crawl.

I would like to play Assassins Creed: Wakanda but done right or Assassins Creed: Desolation to see my ancestors in shifted parallel sci-fi reality.

Nah Ubisoft keeps real-world religion usually out of their stories, AC1 frames the crusades as a conflict between Europeans and Arabs without really taking sides. I mean the Templars in AC aren't Christian nor are the Assassins Muslims. I am almost certain that the conflict between Pagans and Christian will just be in the background.
