That game does not exist.
Star Control 3They should buy the rights to Star Control, quit their jobs, invest enough of their own money to make a prototype and then kickstart Star Control 3!

Known for its amazing AI and great tactical combat, involving *cough* corners...and more corners.

Master of Orion 2 with better graphics and balancing would send oldfag space strategist like into buying frenzy. Just gaphics, UI tweaks and balancing most obvious imbas and no EA and biowhore-llike "overhaul everything hurr". Are we asking that much?

Same thing with Dungeon Keeper, we got few "games inspired by DK" which gameplay has pretty much nothing in common with DK and fans want nothing more then prettier version of the old game. Is it really that hard to understand, you dont need to invent anything new just make old shit shinier, when I talk about this I always remember Lords of Realm 3, and then I get sad
Nordic Games were apparently originally founded 2008 in sweden. The logo looks suspiciously familiar but can't place it where I recognize it from but I doubt it's anything good.
I've had some experience with finnish, danish and swedish film- and video distributors/publishers and I wouldn't exactly call my experiences stellar at all, they tend to put out shit and I doubt small scandinavian game publisher is any different.

And I thought THQ made mostly shovelware. Still, if they're buying old IPs that have zero AAA MILLIONS OF COPIES CITIZEN KANE OF GAMING potential they'll probably end up just like it in 5 years.
According to its website: http://www.gameoutlet.se/"Game Outlet is Europe's largest buyer of overstocks of all English or Nordic language games products."
Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_(retailer)Game's Scandinavian operations were purchased by Nordic Games at the end of May 2012. Nordic Games purchased 55 stores (44 in Sweden and 11 in Norway) and Game's Scandinavian website, and also have a licensing deal that allows continued use of the Game brand.
I have a strange and disturbing feeling that Firaxis may, after their regular drug orgy, buy MoO... With Brave new World release they may have attitude like "X-Com was a great success! Why won't we buy another Old skool gaem and turn it into a lucrative console remake!"
Now that I re-read what I wrote it looks even scarier.
