So anyways, to my horror, I realized that the Wild Edition Numenera portrait pack didn't include an avatar of the Last Castoff, which is almost an unforgivable omission.

I say almost, because here it is. Much apologies to anyone who was missing this one. This one will serve for both genders.

So what does Infinitron mean with [citation needed]? Those are from the SNES remakes which is the version used for the avatar gallery here, got them from this link. I upscaled them and left a bit of space (48x48 actual sprites in a 96x96 box) because they're actually pretty small compared to the rest of the enemies and it makes no sense to make them bigger. No I'm not gonna upload them somewhere else, they're just 3 images, right click and save ffs.

I've been wondering, there's full sprite sheets for HoMM3 for instance (https://www.spriters-resource.com/pc_computer/heroes3/). Does anyone know if there is a way to animate them and convert the animation into the right format, so they can be used as animated avatars?

That would work in theory but I'd have to cut out every frame separately from the sheet, which wouldn't be too bad but I also have to pixel perfectly align each frame when doing so, so that they all share the same center point, otherwise it looks like the guy is inexplicably sliding around the place. Having them all just be the same size is not enough, I've tried. Maybe it would be, if the sheet had the sprites aligned accordingly.

Good find. The resized version looks a bit blurry though, could use some sharpening.
