ok but if you account for the projected 80 trillion new gamepass signups to play avowed, it's actually the most successful game in history![]()
Avowed did seem to cause a lot of people to replay or try out the first Pillars. It's also funny that Avowed couldn't even beat Deadfire's peak.
"But hey goyyyz, it's good for what it is he-he!"
It amazes me how people lower their standards to hype up bad games. Imagine wasting 30 hours of your life playing this slop.
Steamforums is shitpost central for evil nazi chuds.![]()

Leave Britney alone! What a cuck lol
Gentle reminder to everyone in this thread that a game that has this in it is releasing in 4-3 days, and you can choose to play it instead:
Strange as it may seem in these times, games made by people that don't hate humanity are indeed still being made in the Big 25, and YOU can play them. I swear to you, if I were a man of means, I would buy gift copies for anyone that asked. That's how much I believe in this product.
Roguey nails the problem - today's Obsidian just has shit taste in games. They wanted to make a game they wanted to play, not maximize cost/sales potential. No, it is weird, because Diablo 3 was also a humongous seller that Obsidian Entertainment would be more than happy to get a slice of the sells pie of.
Making an isometric action game would also allow them to keep the exact same aesthetic as the games it’s related, they likely would’ve got the game out years earlier, and they most definitely could’ve done it for less than they spent on this shit. So yeah, from a business perspective, it’s pretty fucking weird. In a world where isometric action game Diablo 3 can sell over 30 million in around three years, an isometric action game is just as valid of a money making venture as chasing Skyrim; and you can chase one of those things for far less money.
I don't want to defend Avowed but this review (and others) does state that the choice comes up later.A flavor background choice that may or may not come up later. Does the author of this article tell us if it does come up later? No, either it doesn't or she hasn't played far enough to see it matter. What a great start for "choices that matter"!Avowed has heaped my plate full of steaming hot choices. One of the first things I did with my "Court Augur" background was decide that yes I did actually have a romantic history with this Inquisitor Lödwyn person everyone's talking about. I had no idea if it was going to come up much (it has, fun enough) or if it was just a little moment of backstory flair, but it sure felt juicy to make that choice.
Whichever button gets pressed, I get something I want.
Why would you want these soyfags and trannies employed anywhere besides McDonalds?though I hope the people immediately find gainful employment somewhere else outside vidya
Why not? There are still some shitty companies that I would love to see fail. Why would you want these soyfags and trannies employed anywhere besides McDonalds?though I hope the people immediately find gainful employment somewhere else outside vidya
