I'm surprised that there hasn't been any talk about the supposedly "broken" RNG of the game, unlike anywhere else. Well, none that I've seen here. Or could it be that the Codex actually has a grasp on randomness? :D

As for lower spec PCs, a GTX 1050ti despite below requirements is enough to handle the game in 1080p medium details at an average of about ~45-50 fps, which given this is EA is actually quite good. However a GTS 450 may be a tad too old for anything but a slide show. Here's somebody running this on a 940 mobile variant, it's not particularly pretty nor performant.

But he is right. Fighter is the most boring class ever.

Some people here wanna that clerics, druids, warlocks, sorcerers, psions(there are psionics on 5e?), wizards(...) be equally boring as a fighter, for the sake of balance.

As for why they're going "make different characters lol", I'll say it again, it's likely they want testing on more of their character assets. EA customers are Larian's free paying QA department.

They have been particularly open about that as well. The reason they only had the evil companion options in the EA is because, as stated by Swen, they feel they are pretty good at writing good dialogue and they want feedback on the evil stuff.

On another note, I doubt this shows overall interest as much as what of interest you won't find merely by browsing. If I want to see PIV sex between a white man and young woman I don't need to search for anything at all since 95% of the front-page will be just that.

If you have any particular kinks such as Japanese porn or anime, the system will quickly figure out what those are and suggest those videos for you, requiring no search. For flavour of the month and niche stuff, you will most likely need to search for those.

The Codex is monocled enough to have seen dice and to know how they work.

BTW, much of the blame for the zoomer whining is on Larian themselves. They should not have put those percentage tooltips when you hover over enemies, because people who don't understand how D&D attacks are calculated misinterpret the percentages as "75% is basically a sure hit". Better with no tooltips at all, like in old RPGs, that way the player gets a more accurate impression of his chance to hit from his own experiences.

Speaking of rolls, they can be pretty tough, most of them are of 10 and 15DC, there is even a good number of 20s. Assuming your highest stat is 16 or 17, plus proficiency, that's +5, plenty of room to fail.

I don't get it. You spent 2 seconds in previous installments on visual customisation, because, it wasn't important. Pick portait+pick colours to distinguish your character on the map. The game was important.

Modern games are all infested with spyware now tracking everything down to how your characters look because, "reasons". Lol 'k.

The better the graphics/visual customisation, the more they matter and become an important part of the game.

Dex governs tons of skills, and Str only governs Athletics.
