It's ok viktor get his RPG cherry popped this weekend, some old and experienced DM (not me ) accepted to gently guide young viktor in the wonderful world of tabletop RPGs . After trying several rulesets , he will be back , less contrarian and mature enough to discuss with us. Everyone should rejoice , encourage him and give him tips for his honeymoon.

BG3 on the other hand is a masterpiece. Proceeding to enjoy it even though very little left to uncover in its current state. I tend to think Larians really managed to make a world that you want to get back in. To venture forth.

Honestly I stopped hoping I will see a RPG which will manage to nail down all the needed parts.

I agree it may not be eye candy, but in my opinion Solasta has solid graphics. That said, I could just have a higher tolerance for the visual side of things, provided the gameplay is there to make up for it. However, I have to point out there are games that do skimp on visuals (for one reason or another) and Solasta ain't one of them.

Nope. Is not Larianshill who will DM me, the DM I found in Frog God discord via direct messages. Sorry, but I don't wanna to play with a guy who thinks that 8d6 in a game where cr 2 creatures has more than 40 hp is "overpowered". I an all for DM suppremacy, the DM is freed to put any rule that he seems fit and if I don't like, I can chose to not play. And if I will have all the work required to play a TT game, I will play a better system, like 3e, 2e or OSR games.

PS : Not saying that 5e is bad. Is just that I prefer older systems.

With video games is different. If the developer wanna to appeal to a certain "fantasy", is better to do it right, instead of implementing it only to cause frustration and sorrow among the fans of certain class, like is the case of nwn2 casters, pillars casters and etc. Non evokation spells are already a trash on 5e and Larian with hp bloat + single summon limit destroyed any tinny amount of viability left in enchantment, necromancy, transformation, abjuration and etc. Conjuration, IDK how Larian will ruin this spells but I an pretty sure that Larian will gonna ruin Conjuration too. Larian manages to screw up even a basic firebolt.

Mhm, you'd be surprised how interesting talks with people on the fringes of society can be. It wasn't technically my idea to go to a prostitute, a friend of my sister's always suggests we go fuck a prostitute together, but I'm not that much into the idea so I just talked with the prostitutes instead.

Disagree. Playing a game ignoring the graphics it's like watch a porn with obese hairy women or going with a very ugly prostitute.

Normal males with a penis want to look\interact with good looking women just like normal gamers want to look\interact with good looking games.

The only dudes who claims to look only at the "interiors" of women are usually so ugly that they couldn't reach beautiful women anyway, which leads to them thinking that way.

I strongly disagree. Looks improve the quality of sex far more than improve the quality of a game. The most important thing on the game is the gameplay. FF14 has gorgeous graphics? Yes. but the gameplay is just managing cooldowns and farming nonsensical looking gear. I would prefer to play Dark Sun Online : Crimson Sands with DOS era graphics(if the mmo was alive) than to play a game which fells more like work than a living breathing world. Obviously, the same game with far better graphics would become even better.

Morrowind + Graphics mod > base morroing > modern RPG's.

Solasta despite being inferior to BG3 in graphics, is superior in every other aspect. Larian managed to screw up even a firebolt cantrip. and solved the "hur dur missing is not fun" by destroying every non evocation spell more than 5e already destroyed and even messing hard with evocation, creating a very boring game despite the good graphics.
