Pathfinder has heart and passion and that's not something that can be bought with a big budget. Pay a guy and he can create different solutions to a problem, but pay a guy and he can't just magically grow passion for a project that's run by a soulless passionless company. Owlcat has heart. and Wrath of the righteous mythics will blow out any amount of reactivity that bg3 could possibly have anyways.

notice how wrath of the tranny lovers have to come to the bg3 thread but none of the bg3 fans even care about the tranny game?
You just wait for good companions, we can't portray trannys as evil can we?:smug:

What is fucking wrong with that character sexualization in Dragon Age and BG3? I have bad feeling that BG3 will be another Dragon Age Inqusition for sure.

Didn't I see you jerking off to Kingmaker like yesterday? You know the game that has an Orc and Elf girl offering unsolicited threesome? This is why I can't take you guys seriously. The same design sins by mother Russia game is praised while simultaneously berated by Larian. At least be consistent.

a game whose thread marches at breakneck pace with discussion chock full about

speculation about what furry or gender non-binary race they're gonna implement next.

Ah yes, Desiderius fursona explained away by referencing some Japanese artist. The things a good buildfag simulator can do to objectivity. Imagine if BG3 added kitsune we would see Ontopoly and Vict0r co-write a book and put it on Amazon on how Swen marks the next evolutionary stage in decline.

Meanwhile:

I don't care if you think triceratops are bad and I don't care if you can't ride it. They're cool as fuck and I'm picking it

Don't worry my dear Russian overlords I'm still buying the game come September (in 2023 when the enhanced edition fixes all the bugs).

BG3 does have that glossy look of DAI (on characters) that's undeniable though, alongside the tumblr chick bait chars like astarion and similar cringe romance writing.

Im just tellin. It will be next Dragon Age Inqusition but without free exploration instead with narrow corridors full of trannies and exploding barrels. God, let me be wrong. End times are nigh... My beloved Baldur's Gate ...

So is Larian still not commenting on an editor for this one? What's the point of a D&D CRPG that can't even compete with NWN, I ask you?

Expect it in a patch not long after release once major issues have been handled
Has anyone ever really used the DOS2 custom campaign editor thing personally? I found it extremely cool and potentially powerful for a one-shot co-op with a GM. Would love to try.

The campaign editor/devkit are one and the same, and there are a lot of DOS2 mods.
Custom campaigns? Don't really think so. Even NWN only has a couple worth mentioning and it is the most popular + has been out for two decades.

I tinkered with it and the devkit is a lot more powerful than the editor. But even the editor is cool as hell, all things considered. Of course, you'd be hard pressed to make anything even remotely sandboxy, but running a more or less linear one-shot would be interesting.
