It didn't work for me like it did for you with D:OS, so I doubt that.Swen is about to make you his bitch.
I'm quite sure this isn't the first confirmation that you'll be able to control your party, but this doesn't tell us much. You know, you can in theory control your party in Dragon Age, but do you really need to... this still tells us very little about the gameplay.Hey, that article confirmed you'll be able to control your party so it looks like it'll be more Dragon Age Inquisition than Dragon's Dogma.
First: Why did you go to Lilura's blog if all the informations are available for free in the 5E SRD? Could it be that you are stalking her? Don't get me wrong FxF is OK with me, but try not to be creepy.Hey, that article confirmed you'll be able to control your party so it looks like it'll be more Dragon Age Inquisition than Dragon's Dogma.

If you think half-orcs can't be just as smart and halflings and gnomes can't be just as strong as any other race then you are a bigot. Pillars of Eternity had stat penalties, so this makes Josh Sawyer more of a race realist than the 5e guys (insert FreeKaner meme here).
It seems Lilura is already at the level of paying people to do some merchandising. In other news, I popped on over to Lilura's blog

no stat penalties for core races. Full blown orcs get their -2 int. Arguably, half-orcs are better than both humans and orcs. Eugenics at work.
Every game designer who has tried to explain to gamers what fun is has been punished for his arrogance. Will Swen be the one to find the true meaning of "fun"?
Probably not. "Fun" is held hostage in the Endless Paths of Josh Sawyer.

Swen, the breaker of chains, will escape the dungeons of no-fun-allowed and terminate the cycle.
Remember that feeling of gradually getting more powerful as a melee character in BG1? Finding that first +1 sword that didn't break (they put weapons in that broke Sven), and how it hit just that little bit more often. I wonder how many players thought they got lucky with their characters, when in reality it was that hidden "can't die in one hit at level one" mechanics that protected them. All those trials overcome from starting out as someone who may have had decent strength to begin with, but still had to be concerned about missing and getting critically 1-shot in return if you were arrogant enough to charge in melee without help...

Lilura Deep Gnome and Duergar aren't core races, they were added in supplements.Hey, that article confirmed you'll be able to control your party so it looks like it'll be more Dragon Age Inquisition than Dragon's Dogma.

You don't get both +1 to all scores and a free feat. There are two Human options:All ability scores +1 and one extra feat for humans means you can min-max more, though. It essentially gives you +6 more points to put into the stat which most benefits you and faster access to prestige classes.
