What did you find particularly shitty? Apart from the tentacle porn.

The writing falls off a cliff at the end of Act 2 when the other chosen are introduced and only gets worse and worse. Gortash and Orin are non-entities, the Emperor is completely retarded as a concept and Act 3 also happens to go full globohomo with its other NPCs.

Did you do durge?

I started Durge but found it to be contrived so far. People say it's so much better but when you think about it it makes even less sense. The Blood of Bhaal spawned a Paladin or Cleric? You remember nothing but still get divine help from a good, or really any, other God?

While that's debatable, you at least have prior relationships with the A3 bosses and it makes for a better story.

Other than mechanical concern, the durge story does make a ton more sense. Specifically explaining why all these powerful entities/people all gravitate around you and are trying to enter an alliance/exploit you in some ways.
It's not free of its own ''convenient'' plot points but it is still better than tav.

To enable multiplayer they have to do most of the work for enabling origins, so it gets added 'for free'.

The writing and hooking up all the script isn't little work in itself.

BTW the camera completely fails once you enter the city. It's either too low, or too close. You are looking at the pavement for most of the time.

I'm still grieving we have triple romance with Halsin and Shadowheart, but not Shadowheart and Lae'zel.

It was originally said that the game would cap at level 10. In the very first couple of EA builds gaining levels was slow as molasses, but halfway into the patches you were already at level 4-ish when you cleared most things in the first act (no Towers or Monastery yet). So it was expanded. I'm level 10, in act 3, not that far into it yet.

Larian should really consider not biting more they can chew one day.
What's the point of adding more hours of content if you can't finish and balance them properly?
And I have a feeling BG3 will have below average completion rate.
