I've written a good portion of it, yes. Right now I'd consider it to be the baseline. We will expand it with time and there are a lot of cool ideas concerning quests and other little things, but I won't say too much.
Could help ya with proofreading if that's a requirement.

If you see any goofy lines feel free to let us know. When I play the game I still catch things here and there that need tuning. Many times it's not as easy to fix as it may appear, but I won't get into why. Overhype has been pretty clever in this regard :)

Sure, it'll be a while before I get the early access copy because cash, but will do.

I hope eventually we will be able to make dual-wield characters. Just in case we want our own berserkers ^^

Also, you guys are planning more uncommon weapons like throwing daggers/axes/nets/bolas et cetera?

If the devs are wishing to put in more interesting unique items, I'll just say this:

Let us run our own "Band of the Hawk". :)

The Souls games did it, Dragon's Dogma did it, and so can you!

Definitely. Some of the more uncommon weapons won't be for sale but you'll be able to loot them off of slain enemies. When goblins will finally make their way into the game, they'll make use of throwing nets, for example.

You did really well in that last battle. I got a good laugh out of hiring the beggar and his perks were pretty much the worst ever (surprisingly decent melee, though).

Thanks hehe. Yeah, but what can you expect from a medieval beggar. I need every man I can get
Still kinda sad that he died, but at least he didn't die in the gutter :salute:

Cool LP series Alienman. Couldn't help but think there were lots of opportunities where using a spear wall could've saved you a death or you didn't use one and were very lucky to survive. Conversely you went wild on the shield-knocks. You also got some very lucky archery rolls!

Keep 'em up, can't wait for EA to drop. What is beyond those mountain ranges btw? Or are they simply the edge of the traversable map?

Thanks. My tactics are all over the place. If you ever watch something else on my channel like say X-com you will learn that it does not matter what kind of era the game is set in - the people under my command will die in droves and it's mostly luck that keeps them alive :)
And yeah, I have learned that shield-knocks are crucial. I really like the zone of control thing they have going in the game. One thing that really impressed me was when one of the bandits used the "switch places" skill with someone. I almost felt bad for killing them, I mean they were showing compassion for their fellow man / brother in arms. "Friend, let me take the blows for you!"

You can travel to the mountain areas, think the EA end-game is out there. But I have a feeling when the great evil is done, it will come from that area, pouring down into the lowlands. I'm not sure though so I will let the boys confirm or deny that :P

Been watching the new episodes of your LP. Certainly disproves the notion that people may have gotten from the Combat Demo that archers are useless. Though it also looks like you've had extremely good luck on friendly fire compared to rapsdjff.

I was thinking today that I quite like the 'scatter'-ish nature of BB's ranged combat. Feels more realistic this speed-oriented volley fire than the usual Legolas type pinpoint marksmanship across a flat trajectory that you usually see in games.

Just thought of an amusing character idea:

'Oscar/Default_Character_Name/____ the Champion was once an extremely promising up-and-coming knight of the realm whose skill at arms propelled him from minor nobility to the king and court's applause and attention. However an unfortunate jousting accident where he was thrown from his horse left him seriously injured and amnesiac. Having spent all of his previous wealth on the finest physicians in the land whilst recovering for over a year he is now penniless and has decided to return to a warrior lifestyle. Only remembering snippets of his past he has forgotten almost all of his prior skills though perhaps some of his old potential remains...'

Expensive (800+ gold?)
No bonus skills
Comes with a good set of armour
However.. has a large bonus to experience gain (I'm not sure what rate would be balanced: 10-50?)

Could be a nice addition for a late-game party who want someone they can quickly bring back up to scratch via perks.

Ranged attackers are very important. I suspect most players will notice this the first few times they face bandits and a couple of enemy marksmen snipe half their company.

I'll find a way to incorporate that storyline, oscar.

Nice and thanks. The last episode called "epilogue" is being uploaded now. The fate of Wendel will be decided :)
And with that I mean, I love how easy the game create stories for you, and it's still fairly early in development so that is impressive! Can't wait to see what the guys can come up with. I think we have a real gem on our hands here, for us that loves JA2 and X-com.

Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex USB, 2014 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Will the Monday release be the same version as the press release one that I've been watching on YouTube? It would be nice if there were some special items, I don't think I saw an amulet in any play through, despite there being an inventory slot.

Obviously, I am getting this on Monday and so should everybody else

It will be the same version feature-wise but we've added a few fixes, tweaks and minor improvements based on what we've seen in the Let's Play videos. We've got more improvements planned based on the feedback we've gotten so far but there isn't enough time to get them all in and test thoroughly before release, so they'll have to wait a while longer. There are no amulets in the game yet.

One minor improvement is that the engagement screen now gives you a rough estimate as to the number of different enemy types.

Edit: I know that it needs to be 'Fallen Heroes' - it's an older screenshot from before I noticed that.

Is fallen heroes an undead class or is it fallen battle brothers / npcs?

Ah right. But fallen battle brothers still join the ranks of the enemy right?

I understand that at some point an evil faction is supposed to appear and sweep across the map conquering everything. Has this great evil been implemented yet?
