It needs to have either story or multiplayer, as a minimum. Who wants a single-player skirmish game?

Divinity: Original Sin 2 BattleTech Bubbles In Memoria A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit. Pathfinder: Wrath
It always gives me a warm fuzzy feeling in my heart to watch these numbers go up in the beginning of a kickstarter.

10k 100k within first 15 minutes, bredy gud. I threw some money at them too for now but I expect a Codex fundraiser.

edit: guise, it was a typo.

10k?

This is going to be funded before I'm done writing my newspost.

Already half way in under an hour, this is going to take off like crazy. They also are getting some good re-tweets from various publications, so that's good too <3

Codex featured character should totally be Cleve. He should drive a Swiftwind or something. Or be the best Charger/UrbanMech pilot ever.

This is without a doubt the most excited i have been for a KS campaign in years.

Also 200K in 35 minutes. Not bad.

Gonna be funded in less than an hour at this rate. And I'm in for $135 (now I just have to decide between Steiner or Davion).

Will there be Mechs who tell their life stories for hours on end? I really liked that in Shadowrun: Hong Kong. Really. I'm super cereal.

About 8 meters beneath sea level.
They're asking for a lot more than just the Kickstarter funding level for a real singleplayer campaign. A whole lot more for an expanded singleplayer. Hope they'll make it. I really want to see this one. Pledged.

HBS must be feeling happy. As far as I know SR Hong Hong didn't sold that well (compared to the older titles).

Watching how fast this is going in comparison to First Wonder is pretty depressing. Still, it's not like they're competitors, so good on HBS for doing so well.

Worth noting that this is the first time Harebrained have offered beta access for one of their Kickstarters. Pretty cheap, too:

Pledge $50 or more

MECHWARRIOR (Exploding Value!)
**********************************************

All of the above, PLUS:

* Access to the STAGE ONE SKIRMISH BETA. Get in early to learn the ropes of ’Mech combat and help us make the game better.

* A BACKER-ONLY VARIANT of the Atlas Assault 'Mech with an exclusive model and paint job.

* A brand-new ORIGINAL BATTLETECH E-NOVELLA by legendary author Michael A. Stackpole. Mr. Stackpole wrote the BattleTech Warrior trilogy which launched the 4th Succession War and became the standard by which hundreds of subsequent BattleTech novels were measured against.

>>> EXPLOSIVE ADDITION! Backers can add ADDITIONAL E-NOVELLAS by Michael A. Stackpole to this level by accomplishing Backer Missions! (See the Backer Mission section for details.)

>>> EXPLOSIVE ADDITION! - Access to the MULTIPLAYER GAME BETA. If Stage Four is funded, you’ll be the first to battle in the arenas of Solaris VII and help us balance the game.

It's good for the balance, I guess.

One can only hope it'll help tune the difficulty and AI to appropriate levels.
