GOG.com maybe a better alternative?I bought it cause my BG1 CDs got scratched enough not to install anymore. It's ok, basically BG1 with ability to zoom out and faster loading times. Only other thing different I've noticed is that they add the stats automatically for you on char creation and display the total on the bottom. Perfect for my munchkin self. I guess they included some kind of dungeon crawl area for a self made party too, but I encountered bugs in party creation and decided not to dive into that shit.
I'd look for it. But I remember one or two modders actually saying as much in the BG:EE forums. How do you, or anyone else for that matter, know that Beamdog has hired modders? Did they put up a press release that I've missed or something?
It's still not an improvement over anything. Crunch mods are good (I personally love aTweaks), but all that terrible fanfic-level NPC crap like Kaeloree's is a serious incentive to stay away.
Do you work for them now aVENGER?
Do you work for them now aVENGER?
As a contractor, yes.
Ahh well congrats then!
Wouldn't they need the Torment trademark? That could be problematical for a PS:T EEProbably Icewind Dale? Although given the recent publicity of Torment it would make sense from a commercial point of view to try and re-release that.

I do still wonder about conflicts though, big company lawyers being what they are. (Do they both have rounded corners?)

Aha, I thought that was just about the "Planescape" trademark which is of course, separate from the "Planescape: Torment" one.
