Imagine forcing a 9 year old to wake up at 7, an extremely unnatural time for a kid to wake up at, and deleting his creative work as punishment for not getting up on time.

Even prison life isn't that harsh.

?
Not that I disagree with you, but most 9 year-olds have to wake up well before 7, since school starts at 8 at the latest.

Yes but not on the weekend or the holidays. During those times, kids should be allowed to sleep in as long as they want.

Also this is another reason why school is FUCKING SHIT, kids aren't mentally fit enough yet at such early times. School should start at 10 at the earliest.

Unnatural?
Here school start at 8, I think I used to wake up even earlier than 7 when I was 9, clearly remember walking to the school bus basically still at night in the winter.
Hell, in high school I had to commute with public transport to the nearby city. 7 was probably the time I had to be at the bus station to get it.

Yes, that's an unnatural time for kids to wake up at, which is one of many reasons why school is shit.

The biggest problem for me wasn't the hours, but the ungodly amount of homework and projects/papers we had to do. And don't get me started on all the group assignments.
