    Game looks beautiful, and turn-based does indeed sound like incline. The animations in the trailer though were really bad. I couldn't focus on anything but the way the characters moved. Very choppy and distracting, and I certainly hope it's getting worked on. The UI also seems overly simplistic, and though I'm sure it was done for cinematic reasons, doesn't really tell us much about the actual way combat will operate in the game. Excited though. We should crowd-fund Cleve into the game.

    The nihilist alignment seems to provide that, which is weird since being a nihilist is a little more complex then that, but from the trailer and the screenshots you can tell that a nihilist character is basically going to be an edgy fag lord.

    Hey - lead dev on Broken Roads here. Quite the thread we have. Happy to answer any questions you have (seriously).

    Quick one about the track this thread has taken over the last few posts: I'm the game director. I'm creative lead. Our narrative team were hired for their writing skills and not their political views. Broken Roads is not going to be a political soapbox, which it seems you guys may be fearing based on two of the writers' Twitter profiles. There are numerous other people involved in the narrative as well.

    I have final say over all content in the game and it's fun first. We're creating an Australian post-apocalyptic world, and these experienced and talented wrtiers are on board because of their aptitude for narrative design, not for personal/political views they may hold.

    I have some questions about the morality system in the game:

    First of all how do the alignments work, are they mutually exclusive? in the sense that leaning to one alignment steers you away from the other ones, or do you have a certain degree of alignment in each one of them, seperatly from each other?

    Also how do these alignments influence the gameplay exactly? do they give you new dialogue options depending on what ideologies you lean more to? do they affect the story in any way? and what type of effects do moral traits have ?

    are there boomerangs in game? if yes, is boomerang wielding party viable? im not fucking around, i really want a group of drugged tribal ladies going against men (and strong women) with guns.
    can we fuck our companions? if yes, same sex fucking? need some lesbo action between all the killing and torturing.
    can you kill your mates and go solo? i want that nihilist solo run.
    can you own slaves? can you fuck them?
    can you rig slaves (or australian wildlife) with explosives and send them to the enemy?
