As of 1.61 the iconic gun "Crash" has the quest item flag thus cannot be removed from inventory and to nobody's surprise searching for "cyberpunk 2077 crash" gives completely different results.
For you guys having issues with the exclamation mark on River's gun, Crash. The issue for me was that I had started but not finished the mission "Sweet Dreams" which was one of the missions there was a bunch of fixes for (apparently not enough)
The mission didn't appear in my journal anymore, but once I went to the location of the BD guy i was able to do it and the exclamation point icon on river's gun went away.
Still having issues with skippy. Thinking it might be related to Shark in the Water not being finishable for me, not sure. But for Crash, try that.
i have the same issue, ive tried reloading, ive tried redoing the mission for a different outcome and its still marked as a quest item. this really sucks.
EDIT: I did "Sweet Dreams" after reading the recommendation by RadicalxEdward, not only did this fix Crash it also fixed Skippy.
EDIT 2: if you want an upgraded version, before starting the mission craft it, then when you get your equipment back both mission flags should be gone.
A bunch of minor bugfixes and knick-knacks, no reason to update on my end yet. How ridiculous is it that we're at the point where when I do update, it'll be because mods will require the latest build, not because of what CDPR ships with it?
This is a bug that has been reported since release, I don't know if you getting it was affected by the hotfix. As of 1.61 the iconic gun "Crash" has the quest item flag thus cannot be removed from inventory and to nobody's surprise searching for "cyberpunk 2077 crash" gives completely different results.
If you are using FSR, it's worth the update just to check out the new version.Well, at least the Blade Runner Easter Egg worked to snap the game out of the foggy weather. Paid Rutger Hauer a visit, then hit the sack in the corpo pad, and the next morning was back to sunny skies. Never thought I'd be so glad to see Cyber Miami again.

No, I use DLSS. On a 22'' screen. With a 1680x1050 resolution. If you are using FSR, it's worth the update just to check out the new version.
I'm on a 48" LG oled c11. Therefore any resolutions below 4K look pixely in fullscreen. It's possible to play smoothly - mid 40s-upper 50s and above in heavy traffic - with FSR on. Now with FSR 2.1 I'm finally able to turn off the sharpening through the game options. I prefer to use sharpening from the TV's settings, because it adapts to the image and saves some processing resources on my gpu. It also looks practically indistinguishable from native 4K now. In some instances legibility of text is actually better when using FSR than native 1440p as some guy demonstrates on youtube.
Try the Blade Runner trick, just go during the day so it fast-forwards you to night as well, then go have a kip. Even if it's more scripted rain on top of your scripted rain, it might work to unfuck the weather triggers. There's also an NCPD hustle somewhere in the badlands that I know has a scripted sandstorm, but I don't remember where exactly and it's a one-time thing. I don't know why the weather system's such an obtuse problem in this game, it's bizarre.Just before the hotfix, I had finished the Evelyn quest line, so I was outside Judy's apartment, and I think the rain is scripted in that moment. However, after I had sleep once, it was raining again when I got up, so I may be affected of the permanent rain too. I'll turn it off when I get fed up with it, for now it's a nice change.
As a sunny day-time alternative, try stealing a truck, put Thorogood's Gear Jammer on and go reenact Spielberg's Duel. Just make sure to get the unattached trailer head, the big Kaukaz is just too slow to chase your prey once they start gunning it. And do it in FPP for maximum "impact" and gameplay challenge.Much of the fun in Cyberpunk comes from moments like riding your bike through the rain while listening to Here Comes the Rain Again by Eurythmics, after you've just finished the Automatic Love questline.
Yes! It's such a bummer, the viewpoint just had to be a little higher up and back/wider so we could see the right A-pillar and get a better indication of the front. Right now the only car that can be reasonably driven in FPP is the Maimai. Also, throwing some of those RTX reflections at a pair of working mirrors would've been a nice touch.I love the detailed interiors of vehicles so much, but they really could have done with an "immersive" perspective where you see more of the road. Every damn racing game has been able to get first person perspective and fov right. Just one more unfinished thing in this game. Thankfully, there are mods for that but too.
You drive in FPP for anything ever? What kind of masochist are you?As a sunny day-time alternative, try stealing a truck, put Thorogood's Gear Jammer on and go reenact Spielberg's Duel. How did you teach it to do a suplex?Yeah man I love those cars.
There is a mod that allows you to shoot while driving/riding. That's not even its most important feature though. Its most important feature is that now civillians will call police if they see you doing violent things, and even more importantly - gangers will call their own backup of more gangers arriving in cars, as you attack their bases (NCPD map markers). This provides an incentive to push the offensive and not just pick them off from as far away as you can, because if you kill the guy with the "Calling" icon over his head, obviously he won't call the reinforcements. Modding is a big part of making Cyberpunk enjoyable.Aside from a handful of half-arsed scripted sequences, there's no vehicle combat, no racing, no chases, no gangs cruising around, and no relevance to stats beyond personal preference for not scratching the paint too badly
I don't but I wish I would. If I find a good setup of fov and camera position (they are configurable), I'll be sure to boast about it The thing is that for now I just don't see anything better than bikes. The animations are very good and the handling feels nice (with Bikes Overhaul), and as a bonus, traffic is not a problem. You drive in FPP for anything ever? It can be fun if you're actively trying to cause mayhem, TPP makes it too much like shooting fish in a barrel. It does also add to the sense of speed if you just wanna challenge yourself and see how many times you can thread the needle biking in the opposing lane. You drive in FPP for anything ever? People have been speculating there might be a vehicle combat mechanic coming with CDPR's much-touted police overhaul. There's so many stunted implementations, though. There is a mod that allows you to shoot while driving/riding. That's not even its most important feature though. CAPS Lock might be cruise control for cool, but not for CDPR's vehicles.I remember driving with m&kb was such a pain.

Again, what would be the point of having vehicle combat if it's not accompanied by vehicle combat related missions? maybe have some Mad Max-esque fights in the badlands? Driving in Night City was just not fun at all and the less mandatory driving there is, the better.People have been speculating there might be a vehicle combat mechanic coming with CDPR's much-touted police overhaul. Like I said a couple of posts up, there's no driving gameplay in Cyberpunk 2077, it's just a handful of scripted setpieces for flavour and a scenic alternative to fast travel. Which is a shame, because the cars themselves are really cool. Personally, at this point I'd just like to be able to shoot from behind the wheel so I could clear stuck traffic without stepping out of the car.Again, what would be the point of having vehicle combat if it's not accompanied by vehicle combat related missions? maybe have some Mad Max-esque fights in the badlands? I think people are getting hyped over nothing again with the promised police overhaul. The current implementation is such a superficial shitshow of a mechanic that it's impossible to meaningfully iterate on it, you'd have to rip it out and rebuild it from scratch. Right now it's not even pointless, it's actively annoying since you can neither effectively hide from nor defeat responders, they just keep spawning in and beelining to your position until you put enough distance between you, which is even more of a pain in the ass if you don't have a set of wheels on hand.Anyways, I also don't get why there's interest in more police presence. I know that what V does is always going to be illegal but in all my playthroughs I could slice 40 gangoons up and the NCPD would not care an iota. Why should I care about improved police if the police is never the enemy? You would need to go out of your way to fuck with the police to have any fun with improved police AI. It feels like a solution no one asked to a problem that doesn't exist. This isn't GTA, why would I care about about the cops?
They would need to re-design all the gigs in the game to have a police meter. The louder and dumber you go in, the more stars you're getting and so on. Or maybe if you're doing a militech or kendachi sabotage missions have the NCPD arrive if you get caught. The thing is, I never get caught in the first place getting us back to the first problem: you have to purposefully act like a psycho for the police to notice you.
Why don't you just tell the car where you want to go and let the AI drive you there?
