Yes, the curse of the hexagon is upon us, but as far as Cyberpunk is concerned it is more of a public image they wanted. The story certainly doesn't revolve around such things. The game itself is good.

Without direction they will just take a slack, grab the cash and...that's what happens. Or they were overblown with the success and didn't know how to handle project of such magnitude and funding. If you want to keep this relatively spoiler-free, look at the table of Act 2 here and look up which mission gets offered after which other one. The exact path often just changes the people you will see later on, and the side missions have an impact on which missions will be available after that point of no return.

Edit: The shortest path would be possible via Ghost Town, but it seems to depend on choice. For what it's worth, I have the same missions pending in my game.

I found out why we keep seeing so many A-Poses all the time. The fools left raw mocap data in the final game. I walked up to a girl that was A-Posing and after a few seconds of looking at her the pose changed to animate properly.
Who ever was in charge of their art assets really dropped the ball on this one because I think its the most embarrassing seconded by all the placeholder that remains in the game still. Very sloppy work. They obviously don't have good leads otherwise this would've been caught.

Have you tried "quality" DLSS in Cyberpunk? I hated it in Control (yes even 2.0) but in Cyberpunk I think it looks quite nice. Control looked pasty and overly sharpened to me, but Cyberpunk looks crisp and detailed without looking overly processed. Maybe it's because Control had some weird background resolution chicanery going on already.

That's not the point. I'm not saying there isn't skill involved in firearms, but if my character has 0 skill at using them but I happen to be some aiming god, then how do you balance that?

You can just use reality as a guide and abstract as necessary... Like a lot of old RPG sytems tried to do (DND melee for example. Fell short due to lack of knowledge and being a pnp system without a computer to calculate things for the players, but they tried).

There is a fundamental difference between PnP/turn-based games and shooter/action RPGs. I personally hate almost all third-person/first-person RPGs, with the exception being KotOR series because of the great writing/world-building, and combat that was basically RTwP.

ARPGs (depends on what you mean by that) started off with shit systems (diablo) and everybody is just copying that shit brainlessly.

I meant games like Dark Souls and Witcher 3 as well. Trash games too.
