yes,talk to the farmhands to see to whom they are loyal,at some time one of them will tell you that the best option is to work together and to talk to the old guy.

Sadly I have overwritten my saves with the Holdwig path, thanks anyways. I'll try to do this when I get to replay the game.

I'm about 30 hours into this mod and still in chapter 2. I've been doing a 2-handed str build, joined the city guard, and became a blacksmith apprentice. It was pretty badass being able to craft a sword made from fangs/claws that I collected.

So, the secret ending is actually saving your brother and ending the game in chapter 4, before the big climax hits the game.

You apparently need to do 100% correct choices in the main plot and don't do any side content (good luck figuring out what is side content though), pick correct monster at Bodowin's, then rushing ahead to chapter 4, where you will find him alive in the coffin, talk with him, get him the medicine and decide to fuck off from Archolos, spending all remaining gold on ticket for another island, leaving everything and everyone behind except your brother.

Incidentally, once you finish all the apprenticeship quests for one master and get declared a master yourself, you can sign with a different one and do their questline as well.

I would say ending for autism of playing it at least 4 times to discover all shit form both guilds and specializations and then figuring it out.

In Archolos there's a guard at the harbor, maintaining the cannons.

He says that he wants to convince the king to use gunpowder in battle because it would help them a lot against the orcs.

Eh, game's aren't made in a vacuum. I think this sort of context helps evaluate value proposition. Maybe you think it's weird to share a personal detail like that, except Sawyer himself shared his salary on social media so...

There is also a good 1h mace in the cave with three shadowbeasts south of the merchant guild mine. Does 130 damage with 5 armour piercing. Has a 120 strength req iirc.

This mod team should just create their own game and universe inspired by Gothic they have pretty good writers, quest designers and programers anyone who can make cinematic cutscenes in the piece of shit Gothic engine is pretty good in my book.

Game set in Witcher universe where you play as normal human with Gothic gameplay mechanics would be but that will never happen so I hope they create their own universe and start making money for their hard work. In ideal world Thq would hire them to make the Gothic remake but we all know it's a pipe dream so get ready for the shit remake.

Thanks, man. Though i've already got my hands on some of the good 1h weapons. I use a hammer called Raven's Beak that does 130 damage, found it in a cave with some shadowbeasts. A the moment this is the strongest str based 1 handed weapon i managed to find in chapter 3.

Instead in that ideal world THQ would fund spinoffs like this mod or games with the same design philosophy instead of partaking in the remake and remaster cancer that is plaguing the industry.

Open sourcing the non-vendor components of the engine, or offering the engine for license without warranty, would garner them so much goodwill. It's a shame that executives will never see it that way.

With a FOSS gothic engine, you could update to SDL2, replacing the rendering, and update the ancient virtualized filesystem to something that isn't... that. I think that's part of why load times are still so bad in 2021, VFDS.

They should have made all the one handed swords dex build while maces,axes and two handers should have been str.
