Hm. Well I thought it was good. Still, I guess if you didn't like Guild Wars, you might not enjoy DDO. I thought it was better than GW, though.

I posted this also in Tribes thread: Soldat. it's 2D, fast, easy to control and free*. It kics ass, you have to give it a chance.

*: Well, it used to be free, but you can still play it with some restrictions. The only significant thing is you are limited to 640x480 until you purchase it.

You're also limited to playing games with just your close friends if you don't want to play with a bunch of cheaters or retards with M79's.

In the meantime, what can I play with you freaks using dial-up?
Online pong.

Oh, also, satellite is almost always super expensive, from what I've seen. They do that to make sure that there are SOME disadvantages to living in a fortified compound out in the middle of nowhere.

I live half a mile form a casino, and a short walk from the telephone/cable box, the idiots just are far too lazy to do anything.

I hate dial-up, if satelite is good for downloads then it is better than dial-up.

Also, LAN REQUIRES NO CD-KEYS/NO UNIQUE CDKEYS, SPREAD THE WORD

IE, Use Hamachi.
Bored drunken rambling removed, especially since you guys arent playing Tribes.

EDIT: I removed the link. Piracy is a no-no, folks! I probably won't even give it to you, even if you PM me or ask me on IRC for the link!

You could try running a screen grabber to see if that works better. The benefit with that is that you don't need to paste the shot each time.

That looks pretty good. How are you finding it so far and how does it compare to P&P?

I was playing with them originally but it was terribly boring so I quit. I've never played P&P though so I can't compare.

I missed a session.

Unfortunately I had more fun with the fighting than the roleplaying. It would have been kind of boring if it weren't for Nicolai's antics. Then again I play a fighter and they don't do much else than fight. Yarr.

You damn powergamers. Still, D&D is pretty combat-based, to be fair. But there are skills for non-combat stuff. For a bunch of guys who like to avoid combat in video games, I'm really rather surprised you guys want combat so much. I mean, you guys really seem to not like how many RPG's nowadays don't let you avoid combat.

EDIT: Also, I forgot to mention you can hold the middle mouse button to SCROLL THE MAP. That entire encounter with Chryssagram was at the TOP of the map.

I'm gay and lame enough to be willing to give online D&D a shot. As a bonus, you don't have to smell any of the people you're playing with.
