The reason Concord failed is not only the woke design. It's because ALL the character are badly designed and it costs 40 US Dollars to play. Not only Woke, even for woke design Concorn is especially ugly (yeah you can yadda yadda they all look the same but they do look difference at least as far the target market is concerned).

During it's F2P Open Beta it had 2000 ish players iirce which is far from being good and is extreme flop after 200 million USD and 8 years, but game would fare better as f2p titles

Concord is just a perfect strom of bad decision

Ideally it's because it's based on players feedback for the beta that they didn't have time to fix until release, but could also be things they were planning to do and didn't have time, so they call it a QoL update instead of a patch to a work in progress.
