If Gaider stopped being a man-child and accepted that he became lazy about his work and don't even try to improve his writing anymore, maybe I could have respect for him. The writing in BG2 was already questionable, becoming worse and worse with every game released afterwards. The same problems persist: forced emotional drama, pacing problems, binary morality system, illusion of choice, lack of understanding about how human relationships works, emo villains, predictable plot twists, plot holes, shitty endings. Every Bioware games have these problems and instead of improving, it only got worse, so Bioware fans started losing patience? It's predictable. Gaider isn't angry about Talimancers and other degenerates, he is angry about people criticizing his work, but he should be happy because when people criticize something it's because they still care ( Why Biodrones still have hope is a mystery.), if they started ignoring him or Bioware the situation would be worse.

Gaider's just an emotional kind of guy who has been playing head games with himself. I was actually serious when I said he should be writing young adult fiction. I'm pretty sure deep down he knows this too. He's just lashing out a bit because his feelings are hurt, but honestly he's just out of his element. I hope he finds his way eventually. Why dont big companies simply hire someone to look at forums and report back to the devs. They can give the devs the constructive criticism and good ideas from the forums while protecting them from flames.

Because it's just a marketing tool to them, especially when it comes to bioware. Notice they are called community managers (apologists) not community feedback organizers. In general I don't really disagree but FFS companies like bioware have 99 disatisfied customers for every happy imbecile. That's just a stunning ratio, very rare for game developers. Obviously the old fans hate their new stuff, but also no one else seems that into anything but the T&A and Cock & Abs.

No one really hates him, unlike gaider. That's not because they all agree (I think he's full of it) but because he doesn't act like an idiot, and he seems to believe what he says. With gaider it's all manipulation and excuses. He really is the most horrible excuse for a game dev I ever saw. Plus his writing is all crap. Irenecus is only good due to being well acted and cool looking, the character itself makes zero sense.

You have it alll wrong, he's a fraud and he knows it. Very typical of the guy who makes it forward by bitching and whining and being an apologist instead of doing his job well. He gives a song and dance about any slight criticism. Guido Henkel has more taste in the tip of his penis but he didn't suck up to fans and hold the hands of retards so he didn't get kickstarted.
