I hope the game is just heavily front loaded with a bunch of exposition like TPP was.
Yes, the third chapter is when the game proper begins and from that point on it's mostly pure gameplay, except for the last chapter when there's a lot of cutscenes again

Kojima has lost his mind.

I recognize a lot of the new stuff from the art book. Like the race car and the cargo catapult. So I guess the title director's cut is justified since it's mostly stuff that was already conceived years ago but didn't make it into the game.

Thank god you can jump right into the new content even if you've finished the game. I was afraid I'd have to go through the whole thing all over again.

Can't wait to play Uber Eats -Definitive Edition in the next year! See you later guys when you will come with your outdated Director's Cut editions.

Actually that will make for a better game than DS. Running around pandemic cities trying to evade corona-chan's fanboys, maybe get a bit of underground smuggling to spice the story...and you have a better game. Fuck,a mercenary deliverer of goods in a crime and plague ridden cesspit of a city will be a good setting.

I was thinking that Dual Sense controller could actually work really well for this game. Shifting the balance with adaptive triggers and having haptic feedback for various terrains (which are actually gameplay elements). Or haptics when you put cargo on your back and when it sways...I'm curious how will they implement the controller features but I'm sure it's gonna be great.

Found some scenes that play out if Sam teleports too often. Never saw them cause I rarely ever used that option for fast travel since it became available late into the game.

Frankly, this game has great keyboard + mouse controls. You really do not need a controller to play comfortably here if you're playing on PC.

The game plays great on a keyboard and mouse but I still do prefer my Steam Controller making use of gyro aim for this and Metal Gear Solid V TPP.

I wish they'd just answer the fucking question of whether or not it's coming to PC and when already. What are the chances that someone who owns this on PC are gonna run out and grab a PS5 (assuming they can even find one) for this specifically? Part of me thinks it'll come eventually but Sony complicated things by not publishing this themselves and 505 won't talk about it.

The ultrawide mode looks cool. It just sucks that you need a 4K display so it can letterbox down to 3440x1440 and people with actual 3440x1440 displays are stuck with 1080p. PS5 on a system level doesn't even support 1440p. Consoles fucking blow. Also, I'll have no problems starting fresh after seeing how much they've changed throughout the early and midgame. Save transfers were a mistake.

Will be one of the first games to use Intel's open source deep learning super sampling solution that'll run on AMD/Intel/Nvidia GPUs.
