Your Rogue looks nice, but your Sorc still looks pretty gay with that feminine headpiece on. He also has a gay name AND a gay title. :o

I'll never apologize for naming my character after Bovine University, if you aren't giving your characters goofy names in an ARPG or naming them after Simpsons quotes then you ain't black.

You gotta make due with what you're offered. The only horned barbarian-esque helms the sorc can wear have stupid feminine drapes hanging down his face. Male sorcs have it rough. I'm guessing we'll see your standard D2 iron helm/full helm/skullcap/leather cap graphics eventually, and they'll probably charge for it. I was going for something like a TNO, Kratos or the Arcanum barbarian armor-look:

But apparently this is turbo-gay?

Originally the dude looked more like a traditional wizard, but you just gotta change it up now and then:

It's all irrelevant since with seasonal resets every character is essentially a test run for the next season. Although I don't really see the point without real trading. A big reason why seasons are even relevant in D2 or POE is that the economy resets, but not only can you only trade rares and below in D4, but the itemization has such hard tiering that if you're level 80 everything that drops has a level 80 requirement. In D2 you might find frostburns or chanceguards in your 20s-30s and wear them forever. This really isn't going to happen in D4. And with it's stupid 'smart loot' you'll never see a unique drop for another class, meaning not only will you be hard-pressed to trade for your classes better gear, but you'll likely not even get drops you can hand down to your alts. It's unfortunate, we'll see if this changes in the future.

Here's that build video I was talking about earlier. The audio is horrible but I'm literally speaking into a dual sense controller. Definitely need to invest in a mic.

Lmao I totally forgot to show off my paragon board. I went after shit enhancing flame dmg. Not worth making a video about it.

You are mistaken friend. 99% of the time I hold the phone in my hand. There were a few occasions where I would prop the phone up against a water jug or something to record me playing lmao. Those were the days...

I seriously need to get a mic though.

Edit

One thing I wanna try is holding the controller farther away from my face. When editing and previewing the videos the voice audio sounds way lower than it actually is when uploaded. Because of that I been holding the controller directly in front of my face when I talk. If I hold the controller farther away it might eliminate the constant crackling sound. I'll try it out next time I find something worth uploading.

Finally unlocked World Tier III (Nightmare difficulty). The added pressure forced me to reconsider my build, so I added a poison trap skill that actually works nicely with frost imbuement.

Not sure what I'm working towards now, but the game is still pretty fun to play.

The balancing act of difficulty in this game is way underrated. I myself was guilty of shitting on it. But man once you get the hang of all the game's systems (there is ALOT to learn) you can clown on the lvl scaling later on. You do indeed feel very powerful, but the game also doesn't turn into a complete joke. There are still many challenging encounters that don't make you feel like an underleveled bitch. The balance is extraordinary all things considered. Speaking purely from a Sorce point of view obviously. I can't speak for any of the other classes.

You should get one of those smart male masturbation toys that plugs in to USB and starts vibrating whenever your Diablo IV character gets a kill.
considering it's sdg it will never vibrate. at least add an option to start vibrating when your character dies.

I know I've personally been doing a little off-topic posting ITT myself so I'm trying not to sound like a hypocrite here, but posting videos about pornstars is a little over-the-top.

Diablo IV talk only.

Is Codex turning into Reddit now where mods tell us how to think and what to say?

The best thing Diablo gave me was it's legendary soundtrack and a sense of dark gothic atmosphere. Tristram theme, man.

Other than that, it's a satanic psyop. I've tried to replay it some time ago and it just didn't clicked with me.
I missed this earlier. You're saying the game encourages satanism? Bruv the over arching plot is about destroying evil.
Yeah, that's what I mean. It's right in the ending cinematic, in which the hero became the new devil.
Who was victorious that day, heaven or hell? Next funny thing is they made a sequel in which former hero is slain. No salvation, no redemption.
Diablo IV is rated M, so teenagers as young as 17 year olds can play it and be exposed to dark themes and get hooked on the Diablo series. This should be an adult only game.
You don't technically know what happens to the original hero in the afterlife. He/she made the ultimate sacrifice to save everyone. I can't imagine any bad afterlife for the original Diablo heroes. They sacrificed more than anyone.

There is no afterlife for humans, they are beings that got created as a rebellious move by two stronger beings. Sanctuary is not our world, humans might as well be AI or computer programs in our world. When they "die" they stop existing.
Sure we do not know how Angels and Demons also came to be but since we do not have that info we can consider them to exist since the start of time/world.

Then how are humans capable of defeating Lillith and Inarius, the "mother and father"? They are technically God to us mortals. I have to brush up on my Diablo lore. 3 pretty much made everything retarded. This game seems like an honest attempt to salvage what 3 destroyed. I get the sense there is some sort of afterlife for humans in Sanctuary, beyond all the petty BS between demons and angels.

Are we human?
Or are we dancer?
