Before it launched, players were spamming fallout subreddit with threads like "i'm going to roleplay a drug dealer!", "i'm going to roleplay a mr. Radical!", "i'm going to roleplay a travelling merchant!". Surprise, turns out the actual game doesn't support this level of roleplaying.

Expectations management is all well and good but... nah, I don't think so, not this time.

You do wake up in your underwear in a trashed motel room with the mother of all hangovers and the face of a late stage alcoholic, but what you make of things from there on out is up to you. The RP possibilities really are hard to overstate.
