Meh, I couldn't get far into the EE; doing other stuff and playing Anno 1503 instead :D I'm too old (I guess) and cynical to enjoy the art direction and writing and it simply can't hold my attention long enough. I will finish it one day though.

Wait, they reduced Moloch talent -> ability point trade to 1:1?

I mean, 10 was completely overpowered, but a 1:1? That's ridicoulous.

are most doing tactician with or without lone wolf?
I am actually curious about this too because no matter how im looking at it, Lone Wolf kinda sucks now IMO. Without ability to take Glass Cannon with it, the talent literally does not in any way make up for the extra companion and different talent you could take instead. I mean in a way Lone Wolf characters are still strong but i fail to see a situation where 2 characters wouldn't beat a Lone Wolf character. Or am i missing something here?

I'm playing a four man decently-but-not-completely optimized party, mostly because I enjoy having more options and playing with more stuff, so Lone Wolf never appealed to me. The difficulty was steady until late Lucella, now it's dropped so I have to be pretty careless to lose a fight.

Lone Wolf characters don't get more attribute points, meaning they don't make better hybrids. Also, only defensively do you ever need more than two skills (weapon skill + dual wield).

Therefore, I'd say the only characters taking full advantage of Lone Wolf are sword 'n' board fighters and dual wielding melee rogues. For those, it kinda rocks though.

Has anyone found weapons that require Tenebrium 2? I haven't in my recent playthrough. Seems the skill is useless.

So without reading the whole thread it looks like the game is more polished, better combat curve and nice additions and tweaks but maybe a bit more "balanced" ie console friendly
Looks like I will have my first playthrough and see how this goes after wrapping up Wasteland 2 DC

Bairdotr was using a bow with a Tenebrium 2 req in my playthrough, I think I picked it up in early-mid Phantom Forest.

And yea, I had to bump Madora's tenebrium skill to 2+1 (from some amulet) so she could tenebrium-ize her weaponry.

I can't for the life of me figure out my way into

the source temple in EE. All instructions on the web indicate I just need to walk up and enter as if there isn't a swath of puzzles and locked doors in the way, yet the area is brimming with them, and no amount of tinkering I do seems to help.

Huh, I thought those puzzles are pretty straightforward. Basically there are four pressure plates you have to step on, in four different puzzle "rooms". I think you have to enter the eastmost one first, as it's the only one not blocked by a grate. You work your way towards others from there. Having a rogue with invis and levitate helps immensely here.

I don't have a rogue, but I have two Scoundrel splashes with the relevant abilities. Problem is, I see nothing that resembles what you describe.

For example, the one pressure plate I have found was in a small niche with a Sentinel and some lava on the plate. I teleported the sentinel away, used Winged Feet and stepped on the plate. Nothing happens. Another puzzle I've found is one with a fire totem and a who bunch of large plates, but stepping on literally any plate is insta-incinerate.

They are pressure plates with elemental symbols above them - fire, water, earth and air. You gotta step on all of them, opening the grates in the process. When all light up green, a big stone door in the middle opens, there's a battle with a big demon and then the entrance to the temple proper.

The room with insta incinerate is what Winged Feet are for.

This is my problem, nothing lights up.

Do you have to stay on the pressure plates or is it enough to activate them once?

Hm, I think the light around the plates is red and when you step on them it goes green. Maybe I'm mistaken but there's a big stone door with all four symbols underneath it and tnose definitely light up green as you step on the appropriate plates. And you don't have to stand on the plates, just step on them.

If nothing anywhere lights up green then something must be glitchy.

Something's definetely glitchy then. Stepped multiple times on the earth plate yet nothing lights up on the door.

Shit now I remembered something was glitchy in my game with those symbols too. There are 2 sets of the big doors with the elemental symbols and I think one of the set didn't light up in my game as well. Seems you have a bit different but related glitch.
