I address you tonight not as the Pretender of the Ashdod, not as the leader of a nation, but as a citizen of this game.
We are faced with the very gravest of challenges. The Book of Ashdod calls this day "Armageddon" - the end of all things. And yet, for the first time in the history of the Dominions, a species has the technology to prevent its own extinction.
All of you praying with us need to know that everything that can be done to prevent this disaster is being called into service.
Our thirst for excellence, knowledge, every step up the ladder of the research tree, every adventurous reach into your dominion, all of our combined modern technologies and imaginations, even the wars that we've fought have provided us the tools to wage this terrible battle. Through all the chaos that is our history, through all of the wrong and the discord, through all of the pain and suffering, through all of our times, there is one thing that has nourished our souls, and elevated our species above its origins.
And that is our courage.
The dreams of the entire game are focused tonight on those odd hundred brave souls fighting for good. And may we all, citizens this world over, see these events through. God speed, and good luck to you.
I want to thank my allies. I should've rewarded you for your assistance. And I will. Fully from our treasury. Respected. Rich. Loved. You will be treated by your wifes and children as heroes for the rest of your lives and enjoy a peaceful death.
But your dream Dayallu, your simplicity long ended when you conspired against the good in the world, and thickened your holdings with plunder and jewels. Because you have fallen in love with all the things in life that destroy men.
Do you not see?
And you as well as I, know, that as the years decline, and the memories stale, and all your great victories fade, it will always be remembered, you left your humanity in Ashdod, for I will go on, with my giants.
