To be expected when Vici.R has to play without their best player thanks to visa issues.

I am somewhat glad Secret got bodied like that, while it was commendable to hold onto their rax for that long they never really seemed in control of the game. Envy has been an utter disappointment the whole tournament and their drafts have been completely uninspired.

Hello from TI6.
The screaming from Secret fangays gave me tinnitus.

 indeed. It is always good seeing people aspiring and actually achieving.

NaVi just went home. Man I always have soft spot for them, but may it is time for dendi to retire.

This first day also makes me triggered when seeing naga siren and axe. Gaben plz nerf both.

Was Dendi the problem? I can't say I was completely paying attention there.

He is just one of the problem. NaVi has penchant of really sub-optimal drafts while individual performance of team is kinda of meh. Unlike similar team with weaker individual performance, Dendi and Dityara can't really be relied upon to carry a game.

That was back in 2014 when 3 of the current wings players were standing in for the remaining players of DK. They basically stood there behind burning and mmy and listened to them while they were drafting. Looks weirder than it was with those plain t-shirts compared to the DK apparel. Those DK leather jackets were dope as fuck though.

Na'vi drafted for early aggression while their team simply doesn't work like that. The safelane NP did almost nothing to create pressure on the map and Dendi picked up Aghs first which doesn't let you gank that well with the rest of your team. People are also hyping up artstyles chen/ench way too much. While they are his strongest heroes he really only pressures the first 5-7minutes and then goes back to farming. Compare that to the Chen performance put on by iceice against DC or the groupstages and you can see how much more impactful you can be during the earlygame. Na'vi generally strives during teamfights in the mid and lategame, which is where they have the highest winrate. Not sure why they would draft such a line-up where early aggression and closing out the game by minute 35-40 was the only reliable way to win the game.

Liquid are going to come through the loser's bracket to win the whole tournament. Calling it now.

Their play is much more coordinated than any other team, and their drafting is always solid.

After watching them destroy Navi's early fighting lineup in the early game it's clear that they are still playing methodically and are the only team in the lower brackets that seemed completely calm and unflustered.

Liquid is too one-dimensional in their drafting imo, their picks haven't really changed since Shanghai. Tanky core on the offlane (BM, Tide, Axe), tanky core in the midlane (DK, Alch, DP, Dusa) and at least one roaming support for jerax/kuro. Mindcontrols laning stage is incredibly weak so he more often than not has to restort to farming neurals with Talon, giving the opposing safelaner way too much space. Contest Matumba on his safelane, where he prefers playing weak early-game laners like drow, slark, spec or naga, and you have an easy opening to take advantage of off. I wouldn't be surprised if Liquid doesn't even make top8.

It is less of liquid being too good than navi just playing poorly (and having bad draft).
Alliance is going to lower bracket. Man, Asian teams are on fire this TI.

TNC take out OG 2-0!

Game 2 is probably the game of the tournament. Winning against the TI favorites despite being nearly 20k behind throughout the whole game. Crazy stuff.

That was a fucking kickass game honestly, the balls of steel on TNC to go for the throne play while being 20k gold behind was just awesome.

Aggressive play is just a joy to watch.

TBC playing like madmen. I jumped out of my seat when they started hitting the t4s to make misery port back. what a great play.

Alliance blew a 14-2 lead and lost miserably. S4 ate too many free arrows and did not have the reflexes to phase shift the bat blink initiations.

They are possibly just going to disband, Loda is nearing 30 years old now? Time to step down, son.

That 1st game is really annoying though. 40k net worth advantage and fnatic was playing rat doto in the last 10 minutes.
The 2nd game was really painful for another reason. Alliance was just like threw the fucking game.
