... doesn't contradict a single thing I said.
Wasn't trying to, I know better than to argue against "it's Fantasy!" argument.

Plus, even a medievalfag like me understands that adding multiple different kill animations for every armor type is too much for a budget of any game, unless it's something higly specialized (like M&B, but it probably doesn't have anything like that either). It's not something anyone would care about, even the worst sperging type.

It's poor taste, its american entertainment to its most disgusting level corporate level.
I remember someone posting live orchestra playing music from all HoMM games during presentation of HoMM 6, somehow codexers did not find that distasteful :M

A picture speaks a thousand words, among them:

Confusion - What am I doing here?
Regret - I spent years becoming an accomplished musician for THIS?

To just plain disgust:

While that's funny, this is how girl musicians on classical instrument always look like when playing. It's weird.

Trap evaded? There needs to be a Snidely Whiplash "foiled again" smiley.

Besides that, Thedas has special minerals that make swords stronger than their real world counterparts ...
...and population too fucking retarded to figure out armor could be made out of them as well.

Yeah, I know, it's mind blowing.

Eh. Lyrium is expensive, enchanting is expensive, trade secrets, national defense regulations, etc. Only elite soldiers, well paid mercenaries, and nobles would have consistent access to the tools that allow them to pull off the superhuman stuff.

show concept art, discuss technical and game ideas, showcase things in the video...anything of actual value. This is ridiculous, not interesting and not informative.

A girl playing violing with a neatly editted video meant to be as uninformative as possible isn't nearly as cringeworthy as when BioWare discusses concept art, technical and game ideas as well as things that'd be of value.

Ok...but in the concept itself, I was kinda correct :)

E3 is such a circus, it's disgusting.
It's really hard not to cringe or laugh at that video...I know it's also a grown up hobby, but it's still a video game (and a shitty one at that) and hiring a girl to play violoncello or wtf and having all those lights and shit, it's ridiculous. Fucking retards.

Perhaps. You have to do *something* to differentiate the experience from just watching the video on YouTube though; otherwise, people won't spend money on tickets.
Doesn't mean it has to be so fucking distasteful. How about uhm I don't know..

Bioware and game ideas? Man, you are mixing words that don't work together. Their fan base know everything they need to know already, explosions, molesting 12 year old women and sexual deviancy in general. There is nothing to discuss.

The environment design in the trailer/screenshots looks quite good to me, but oh god the characters and items. The armors in particular seem so fake and out of place, like they come from some cartoony MMO.

Yeah Bio still cannot into faces. And why the fuck all characters in DAI look as if they were made from plastic?

Maybe they are sweaty? Or people behind the textures have no idea about materials.

They figured out how to make RPGs more replayable. One playthrough for each waifu.
