Don't mean to interrupt this developing romance between you two, but reading that article Infintron linked, this bit popped out

It is, BioWare confirmed to me, the biggest single-player game it’s ever done in terms of landmass. It also has the most potential party members.

This implies the game will have at least 26 potential party members (BG1 had 25). To put this in the words of your biggest fan, Volourn,: 'BIOWARE, WHY DO U LIE?!'

Did you really need more confirmation that the Bioware that made the BG games is truly gone?

I know some girls who like The Witcher and think Geralt is sexy.
They don't give the slightest fuck about SJW issues and would rather have badass heroes fucking sluts than cheesy teeange romance fantasy.

That's something a lot of feminists hate talking about, but very true. One big reason we still have strong men dominating sluts in a ton of media is because a lot of women like it and identify with it.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Counter : the fact that Twilight has even become a thing means that a large % of women do in fact like these sparkly emo shitters.

Well, yeah. Different tastes are different. All people need is to watch This Troper for a couple of videos and they'll forget this whole boogeyman business of power and sexual fantasies. Sure, such and such characters are clearly intended to be attractive, but the intent just makes it even more clear that there's no rule of thumb that described all the cliche characters in fiction or legitimizes grand attempts to introduce very specific consumer demands.

I still don't get bioware's art direction. I mean the first game had meh armor but at least it was semi-realistic? Outside of a few weird chest plate designs, they weren't strange. Second game, you had half shoulder pauldrons covering portions of their shoulders but then all these weird displaced pieces. There's no functionality to them. The only decent plate in Derp Age 2 actually was semi-functional and good looking. I guess it's hard to have functional armor that also looks decent. Bio should take a page from DS's designs, even their more outlandish designs still suggest functionality or at least ceremonial. Next thing will be bondage masks for helms in not France faux style.

They should have lifted Twicher armors or at least Skyrim ones which are decent if they decided to lift everything else.

You know...I wouldn't mind the bondage armor, if they would take their games for comedical directions...Or even if they kept current direction.

It's because Bioware doesn't care about the integrity of their world. They morph their world into whatever might sell the most.

Nothing wrong with a lack of realism as long as the design is well done, IMO. Big floppy hat goth kid design is not well done.

It already is bondage gear, or sixteenth century peasant clothes, or some hybrid of that.

Skyrim's armor at least looks like it could accomplish something, like inspire fear, or represent something, like a strange culture if comes from. Not that it's in any way good or functional looking. DA1-3's armor designs have always had this odd designer flair to them that made them look like fashion statements, I guess as steps away from their more generic designs (which they probably ruled were too generic and unmemorable). They've never felt "organic" like, I could believe this piece of clothing was made by someone of a given culture, or that it was made for some purpose in mind other than to be "on the edge". BioWare's armor design is decidedly edgy, when it isn't just bland.

Skyrim armor wasn't bad, but it was obviously just a placeholder because Beth was counting on modders. If I remember correctly, one of the most popular armor mods on Nexus was the one made by a guy who ported Witcher armors into Skyrim.

So many belts.
I wonder if he will go the whole game without closing any of those straps. In the world of cool design, the only reason to have buckles is to keep them unbuckled!! Watch me fuck with your ingrained narratives about clothing design!! Feel it burn your hang ups, privileged cis-scum!!
