I don't believe what they shown (little arrows and a bunch of standard spells) would satisfy anyone's thirst for tactical RPG's.
That's why i put the " " on tactical. I'll believe it when i see it.

Is this The Nameless One's rarely mentioned Emo Incarnation? MCA should sue them!
Bioware should use that mug as box art to increase sales, it worked well for PS:T right?

Cole's face would look better with a hide made out of scars.

yes plz

Yeah, sounds like a BioWare game.

Sounds like he's trying to do his best Sean Connery impression.

It's a shame, the qunari (or however you spell their name) was one of the few interesting things about the Dragon Age lore for me (Sten was a bro and the arishok was about the only interesting character in DA2), but it seems like they made DAI's main qunari character into another generic BioWare character who talks about excessively about alcohol, violence, and sex, 'cause that's what mature and gritty adults talk about.

I can't fap to any of the new characters.
Wasn't there some fanatic mage announced?
If so: mage + fanatic = autofap.

We're all going to buy play it, stop fooling yourself.
Yes.

You confuse it with Witcher 3. DA:I is supposed to allow top down, "tactical" gameplay. It's the only reason i'm open to try it, as long as the reviews aren't shit
Nyes.

Speak for yourself fag. I'm not touching this degenerate console garbage. :obviously:
guess you are the only one not playing this, since your post has zero brofists.

Gotta play the game to bash it, ya know. :obviously:

Yeah I'm not saying it will be good, I'm saying we're going to play it. We played DA2, unless you're all fucking pretending you did.

Indeed.

Also, Freddie Prinze Jr. scoffs at the fact that Iron Bull fucks anything that moves. Kind of funny that BioWare added that comment to the video even though Freddie is basically mocking them.

When you play a game for the first time, you expect it to rock – to be worth every nickel you spent on it. We expect that, too.

And while we can't guarantee that you'll never encounter a glitch (hard as we might try), we can guarantee that we'll make it right if something goes wrong …

The Origin Great Game Guarantee: If you don't love it, just return it.

You may return EA full game digital downloads (PC/Mac) purchased on Origin for a full refund within 24 hours after you first launch the game, within seven days from your date of purchase or within seven days from the game's release date if you pre-ordered, whichever comes first. This is in addition to your standard return or refund rights.

Here's how:

  1. Visit your Order History and select the "Request a Refund" link next to any eligible product.
  2. Complete and submit the Refund Request Form.
  3. You'll get a response within 48 hours and your refund within 10 days if you meet the refund criteria.
DLC and non-EA games purchased on Origin are excluded from the Great Game Guarantee. So, this is a guarantee for full game (a.k.a. "base game") digital downloads published by EA for now, including full games on pre-order and most full games on promotional discount.

I think I read somewhere there's fine print that you can't buy a game, play it all day long, then return it. It's mainly a system set up for people who buy shit and then can't run it or actually think it's unplayable shit... In other words not people like Codexers who play a game for 100 hours and then say it's unplayable shit.

Well I didn't actually (tried the demo and it just didn't grab me) but point is that presumably a lot of people (on the Codex) played DA2 simply because there was no other option if you wanted to play a (new) party based semi-tactical RTWP RPG, that won't be the case this time with POE (which is gonna be a 10x times better game in every way possible) coming out around the same time.

That said, I never understood Codexers who play the game 5 times all the while whining how it's irredeemable shit, I can't decide whether they're masochists or just hypocrites. I mean I'm a serial replayer, if I like the game I'll play it to death but If I'm not enjoying it I'll drop it and uninstall it right away (don't see the point in torturing myself).

They aren't torturing themselves, they enjoy the game and just feign hatred so they can fit in with the crowd they supposedly identify with.

I did this. I finished DA2 eight times and I hated it. I did it because I had nothing else to do for days. My alternative was to stare at walls or read books, and books are for faggots.

You went beyond the seven times meme and expect us to believe you actually hated the game?

It's because the truth of the matter is that there is a wide, wide gap between "amazing" and "irredeemable shit" but the Codex cannot into gradient enjoyment scales. You're supposed to either love a game or hate a game according to many here, and many people play follow-the-leader with that because they're weak-willed pussies too afraid to say the enjoyed something others didn't.

Dragon Age 2 is legitimately a pretty shitty game, though. I still finished it because *shock* I love RPGs and even "bad" ones are worth playing most of the time. I'll play Dragon Age Inquisition hoping it's a better game and get what RPG enjoyment I can out of it. What I won't do is play it 100 hours and pretend I hated every moment of it.
