The best way to do sex in video games is to not fucking have it in video games. Fade to black, every time. It will always work, and you will never have to render a video with a dwarf in his underpants.

I would go a step further and take the same approach to movies and to a lesser extent books. Stories be stories and porn be porn.

That's definitely true if you're playing a Tech focused character, and a huge pain in the ass. Playing a mage though is a wholly different experience.. where combat might as well not exist since everything dies in a few seconds of Harm spam. Arcanum has a lot of mediocre combat but you can certainly feel like it's almost non existent when you're going on a mage playthrough.
That's the Deep Roads experience. Everything, from the way BioWare gated its content to their insistence in spamming more encounters than necessary caused the Deep Roads to be the game's worst example of pacing. In a way, the difference between the whole of Arcanum and the Deep Roads is that the first has much more interesting content in between the boring encounters, whereas the latter has a functional beastiary. Yeah, piles upon piles of orcs darkspawn, but those at least come with active abilities.

That said, if I was to rip on any part of DA:O it would be the ending's one shottable mooks.

In other news...new companion revealed: http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/characters/humans/cole

.

In all my years of JRPG consolefaggotry, I haven't seen any one character that was more emo than this. Much less one that wore a shit coloured blanket on his head.

Quite possibly one of the worst Dragon Age characters to date. Nothing so far has ever gotten this bad. I could find more creative male character concepts on Deviant Art, even if I restricted myself to artists <16 and female.

No, I mean the blacklisting. E3 was just now. When did he manage to get himself blacklisted?
I have no idea if he's been blacklisted or not, I speculated that he might have been after making a negative comment regarding DAI vs Witcher 3 after seeing them both at E3, and then there's this tepid piece.

I never said anything close to "Grayson's been blacklisted."

Honestly I thought he was wearing a cloth tire cone on his head or a dunce cap because talk about WIDEBRIM. Better yet, it's an anachronistic fedora and he says in a wispy voice "M'lady."

He is a ghost in the shadows, walking unnoticed through crowds. He can slit an enemy's throat before they even realize he's there, and slip away, never to be seen again.

Wow. Their writer should be careful with that edge lest he cuts himself.

Well, to be fair that's what you expect an assassin to be like. But that hair and Saturday Night Fever clothes make him easier to pick out in a crowd than the white robes from Assassin's Creed.

Hey Chief, did you hear that? See, it's just like I told you, charm doesn't go away just because you've kicked the bucket. Ain't no jinkskirt saying that either, how about you put that in your leafer.
