http://forum.bioware.com/topic/508087-why-so-many-cole-haters-in-defense-of-cole/?hl= romance

cant find the original post

User MacLimes writes about Bioware's new companion "Cole":

HE IS NOT CHILD-LIKE.

That was a comment made by David Gaider that has been absolutely misunderstood.

DG was saying that Cole is "child like" in his attitude towards romance, love, and sex. In other words, they have no bearing on him and he wants nothing to do with it.

But he is quite mature in other areas, such as empathy and violence.

Cole is NOT a child, but he is NOT an adult, either. He is an ALIEN, whose first experience with humanity was to console a lonely child as he died, angry and confused.

You can't use human categories like "child" and "adult" to describe his mentality and behavior, because they don't apply. It would be like asking "What does blue sound like?" It doesn't make any sense, and doesn't apply at all.

"Different standards of beauty", yet all the females on that concept art follow the modern standard of beauty (the dwarven woman is just shorter). At least they look different in game.
Like it's different for males. Dwarf is the only type you might see on the street, every other one has a leisure of counting his calories every day and doing separate exercises for every muscle group.

And I just noticed the human female's legs in that concept picture. Wow, what the hell kind of a genetic disease is that?
She is too used to high heels so she stands like that even when not wearing any shoes.

Very common for women doing a "sexy pose" to arch their feet. It's considered feminine.

Good thing Bioware are crusading against sexy females in games!
One day I will need to have this explained to me - why is sexy wrong and why fat gaider-like characters are correct.

I first thought someone painted/photoshopped his hair and mustache.
I THINK THEY OBVIOUSLY FUCKING DID THATS THE BIOWARE CHARACTER MAKER -

1 purchase monkey/nigger/woman-slave
2 sit them in front of a PC with randomly generated facial features
3 inject heroin and let them randomly assemble your character cast
4 have them write character bio as well for maximum emotioanal engagement)

And maybe blackwall, because you can turn him into a Warcraft footman.

although idk if that appeals to a normal person.
I hope they introduce a non disgusting/non lesbian female so my party doesn't end up a pure sausage fest.

Yeah, left one looks pretty nice.

So far the only characters a normal person would keep in their party are the inquisitor dyke and Big McLargehuge II
Oh and: are you talking Humandyke or Elvendyke here?
'cause Elvendyke will get smacked just for coming near my party every single time!
