It reminds me of my attempt to use an AI to make an illustration of the characters that the players were going to use in a TTRPG session a couple of years ago... even then they had problems with the hand/weapon duo :shittydog:

The trailer looked so bad that redditors are using the ugly leak from last year to cope.

Something that I find annoying that hasn't been mentioned yet here is that the characters are introduced in the context of a designated niche. Some element of a "team of specialists" is OK but there is something very game-y about pitching it as "this is the character that fights darkspawn!" and "this is the character that fights dragons!" etc.

Maybe the presentation will be stronger in the actual game, but man, this is not a strong first impression.

Btw, the song is some kind of cover of David Bowie's Heroes -

It's the worst cover song of Bowie I ever heard and I heard too many of them. I'm enraged, why the hell did they do this to him and to me?

(and why did they uglified Harding?)

If any of you still had any doubts of reddit being a hypercuck corporate dicksucking shillsite, just look at the Dragon Age sub and how all the new posts are suspiciously positive about the trailer.

And this garbage:

Yeah, it's also worrying because if they're presenting them as a team of experts that we need does that mean we won't be able to piss any of them off enough to make them leave? Even in Inquisition you could make Cole, Blackwall and Dorian leave if you wound them up enough (and you can punch Solas, although sadly that's not enough to make him fuck off). I'm worried that they're so enamoured of their characters that they're going to inflict them all on us whether we like them or not.

I was banned on the Mass Effect sub during the Andromeda release, for calling Andromeda shit. Reminder that jannies do it for free.

Let's not be hasty, Andromeda and Anthem were not enough to kill Bioware.
