Here's a possible leak about how journalists should review the game. Take it with a grain of salt because it came from 4chan.
Obvious bullshit. Review guides never look like that, are never worded that poorly and most importantly would never dare suggest crap like that because it would leak.

While I did receive a 40 page review guide, the only woke stuff you were asked not to talk about was Taash' "personal journey". Which I did anyway because fuck off.

By the way Rieser the girl in the video I posted a few pages back reads from the review you posted here.

Edit - Also the name on that form, lol Colin Moriarity, I immediately thought of Fallout 3 and thought no way.

There is "being divisive" and even radical, then there's admitting you like sugar-coated shit as a snack. Your best meal of the year even.

It is insane that he is double downing on this garbage game. I don't know how the business of youtube works but surely your audience, the people that pay your bills, are far more important than getting free copies from a publisher, surely. Once you tarnish your credibility in a customer focused industry, your fucked, that shit hunts you for the rest of your career. Failguard is NOT the game I'd ever want to stake my reputation on nor is it the game I'd want to ruin my prospects over. What the fuck is Mortismal smoking.

That dude has long struck me as a weirdo who rarely finds a game he doesn't like. Plus I hate his fucking intro clip.

He's smoking his genuine opinion, which is one hell of a drug. Everyone is entitled to bad taste.

How is this an underwhelming year? For a mainstream AAA fag this should have been one of the best years ever, I dislike the majority of these games but just this year we had:

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Tekken 8
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
Granblue Fantasy: Relink
Persona 3 Reload
Helldivers 2
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Unicorn Overlord
Dragon's Dogma 2
Rise of the Ronin
Stellar Blade
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance
Black Myth: Wukong
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
Silent Hill 2
Metaphor: ReFantazio
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero
Etc

For a normie this year was absolutely stacked.

Can someone explain this "chud" thing to me? What's this supposed to mean? Is "chud" the new "incel racist"?
im almost positive "chud" used as an insult originated from the Somethingawful forums, and it probably comes from the movie Chud, which is about monsters who live in the city sewers

That and Breadtube circles, who use it to mean Christian Homeschooled Uneducated Dumbass, all while they use daddy's money to preach an ideology that would have them killed immediately.

The people who made the game, the cliché being that creatives can only create themselves despite any best attempts otherwise. Part of the problem with Weekes and many others working in the game industry is that they see no issue with this and actually cherish the self insert. Narcissistic and fanfiction's cursed inheritance that we're unlikely to be rid of for some time.

Codex Year of the Donut Codex+ Now Streaming! Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
I'm late to the party so this may have already been discussed but I find "Taash" to be a poor name for any character. The jokes are almost writing themselves : "taking out the Taash", "non-binary ? So you're not a Taash bin", "enough of this Taash talking", etc.
Maybe it sounds better when you're a native speaker but I can't help but find this name very unfortunate.

Rook is our hero of the hour because, by their own admission, “no one else was there to do it”. It’s good to play as someone other than a magically chosen superhero for once
For once? The protagonists of DAO and DAII weren't magically chosen at all. Hawk was just a guy who fled the darkspawn invasion of Ferelden and then made it big in Kirkwall, and the DAO only did the gay warden blood ritual after proving xir worth after the origin scenario.

Even the Inquisitor wasn't exactly chosen, more like someone interfering with a world domination plan at the wrong time and place. Biowhore are heavy into freemasonry/illuminati/thelema shit like "order out of chaos, meaning out of nonsense, purpose out of randomness" etc. Weishaupt fortress, Alistair, templars, eyes in swords/hands symbolism, etc.

Could've just had the God of War action game Dragon Age, and release a romance visual novel Dragon Age alongside it. How many people are a fan of both?
This is basically why RTS died, and split between base builders and MOBAs - most people only liked one of the two main mechanics of the genre.

True, but you need to add a little context to that statement. The "LGBTQ "represent about 15 people vs the 940,294,993 who see that tag as an absolute abomination.
Gaymers are gayer than the general population, and even in the general population, among moneyhavers productbuyers, the most frequent emotion it elicits is nihilism. Actively hating gays is only a majority view in cultures too poor to buy a big game on release anyways.
Honestly LGBT support and LGBT hate are probably equal forces in rich markets, and both are overshadowed by people who don't care and want you to shut up already.
