Usually you release that sort of thing before you release the game to build up hype (understandably not applicable in this case, lul), not after full release. Doubt it'll have any impact.

I think a big sale might help the situation. There are plenty of people who don’t want to pay full price for a bad product and are waiting for a discount. But I doubt the game will break even.

... so this just happened :D

Yeah, their rule against political discussion goes only one way, like basically everywhere. If you fellate the establishment values, your post stays. If not, then that ^ happens. You can be as political and anarchist as you like, as long as you suck the globalist cock. Sadly, this is a sign that globalist values have already been deeply integrated into society.

You can see this play out in the subject of political violence as well. Leftist violence is usually taken very lightly, even when terrorist organisations like Antifa are involved. This is contrasted by "thought crimes" of the former centrists, now dubbed "far-righters". Dissention is a real threat to the establishment, whereas the far-lefters are merely its iron fist. You've got to have some of those organisations in your pocket if your hands are to stay kosher.

Still amazing, "Why redpills are so mad", its a pollical thread by nature, and its fine, a guy starts accusing people grooming kids in a pretty ironic way... and its also fine, and then I get an infraction for that, just rude man, just rude.

definitely there are not enough trannies in this game, especially with the tevinter powerful magic sure they can do transition in a snap of fingers, what the fuck then? where?
thus as a progressive citizen and stuff i'm gonna write them, that i'm outraged by the insufficient attention to the rights of minorities. sure they can do better

Guys, nitpick here, but I wanna remind everyone that "breaking even" - as in sales revenue equaling production budget - is a commercial failure. Big time, at this level. I see a lot of online talk about various games where people go "oh, it's okay, it broke even" and it's really, really not.

But Alan Wake 2 has made back at least 50% of its cost and that's a success according to the devs and gayjournos!

Letting you use the character creator for free is good bait I will admit. I'm a sucker for these things, in a normal world they might have got me with that one.

It would’ve been a good move if the character creator wasn’t balls. But just like many other facets of the game, the characters creation system and its lack of options was something that was mocked by people when the game was released. There’s a reason they didn’t release it ahead of the game coming out.

If EA or BioWare overhauled the character creation system and were using this to show that off it would be a good bit of marketing. But just releasing the thing that was already getting mocked isn’t going to bring new people in, at least not to any great degree that matters.

Around 10 hours in. I just don't get it.

10 hours in, only. Because yes, clearly, it's not the game I'm progressing in the fastest. I'm playing RDR 2 and Dave the Diver parallel to this of all things, and Veilguard is the game I can't get around to play.

It's really, really, not the "wokeness" of the game that is causing me issues.
The story, the universe fail to be engaging but whatever. I've given up on this since DA:O.

Allow me to go on a tangent.

Of all the Devil May Cry games, I've only played DMC1 on the PS2.

Why am I talking about this ?

Because the fucking gameplay remind me so fucking much of that game, with active pause when you feel like it.

Except DMC1 had me searching for items in places or something.

This game is a series of hallways with battles and dialog cutscenes in between.

It's TMNT 4 for the SNES, the RPG.

This is the one thing reviewers should be talking about. This is the thing people should get mad about.

What the fuck is this shit?

This is the last quest I did.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nHo8FM7Ctk

The entire game is like that.

What in the fucking fuck ?
You described the gameplay of Mass Effect. Why people are mad now when they were ok with many similar games made in the past?

The only impact this will have is even more screenshots with vitiligo qunari abominations without people even playing this turd.

Make the Codex Great Again!
Imagine making the most diverse arrpeegee ever only to drive your fanbase into sexing an old white man.

The level of fail in this game is immeasurable.
The old dude was the least popular romance according to the statistics Bioware released, 4 of the top 5 are female so it looks like most of the players are still men (or maybe gay women). I was surprised too given how much people seemed to talk up Emmrich online, but I guess gerontophilic women are just an unusually vocal minority.

Going in I thought I'd romance Emmrich, because I assumed he'd be a knockoff Vincent Price. But instead of being camp he came across as actually gay, and in fact if you don't romance him he hooks up with a guy later in the game. So it came down to Lucanis or Davrin, and I liked Davrin better.
