Until that bit of information about them announcing games at the Capcom Showcase I figured they're be a trailer at the Microsoft show. But if the Capcom show isn't just to further show off stuff they've already announced (RE4, SF6, Exoprimal, and Pragmata) then they're probably going to announce Dragon's Dogma 2 there, and probably also the new Mega Man game that was in the leak. There was also a Onimusha game on there, but that could be a 2024 game now; but whole knows, maybe they'll tease that too if they've got something to show.

If they are going to announce it this year, it may happen on the TGS. I really doubt they will show anything new on their showcase. Such a shame too, the 10th anniversary was a good chance to make the announcement and generate "hype" before the reveal.

It was know before the E3 reveal. There were two big leaks before the E3 reveal. Devil May Cry 5 was originally meant to be shown at PSX the year before. Also the Devil May Cry 5 thread I made here was before the 2018 E3 reveal.
