You do realize that this shit was all in the store in the original DD1 release, right?
I think that got removed by the time I played it. Though I didn't play much of it. If it was, then it was wrong there too.

I paid $5 for the original and there wasn't some kernel-level copy protection trying to prevent me from hacking the in-game currency. I paid over $70 for this with tax and there is.
Here's a thought: do not buy it.
I'll take that advice, but for the whole game.

KMA, I'm not paying for it. Refund already came through.

Also, beast races aren't inherently furry. There's a difference between a furfag and the sort of realistic style they're going for here, which has been in anime and dates back to stuff like the old Beauty and the Beast TV series in the 80s.

I still dislike it though. Also, I'm suspicious that this show was for ladies who secretly wanted to bang their cats.

Khajiit has wares, if you have coin.

So with my very mid-range system (3060 and an i5-11k) @1080p middling settings it's 60-80fps open world, and ~40fps in Vermund. Not great but I was expecting a lot worse.
I open the thread, select the last page and immediately see this. Thanks, this is very useful info. My PC is very similar so I hope for similar performance. Gonna give it a shot.

4k @ 60-80fps with High Settings and DLSS3 in the forest, and at the first village with "a lot" of NPCs. Game looks fucking gorgeous in the forest. There's definitely some micro stuttering going on sometimes.

Capcom really is retarded. How did they think fucking up the performance and adding in microtransactions was going to work out for them?

Like someone mentioned already in the thread, my hope is that they'll be successfully shamed into removing all this shit - even if it is obtainable in-game - and improving the performance with patches.

Also, I just read a post online that you can't even fucking start a New Game from the menu if you already have a save going on. What the fuck?

I'm surprised Capcom fucked up so badly even casuals aren't having it. I fully expected they'd have corporate dick so far up their ass they'd defend it.

Yep. If you manage to shut off cloud saves and delete your save file Denuvo throws a fit and locks you out of your 80 dollar game.

You can see a couple of them here are doing their best on their own, but yes, it's refreshing to see consumers stand up for themselves for a change.

I didn't really have microtransactions and bad performance in mind when I predicted this game would suck years ago.

The dumbed down systems were my worries, which have all been confirmed (layered armor system gone, char creator neutered, skill system simplified, levelling irrelevant, adaptive difficulty and still too easy). Of course we also don't have female animations anymore and a nigger & furry infestation.

Performance may be solved some day, microtransactions may not be that bad, but the points above are what really ruins the game as a sequel to one of the best games of all time, and I can't help but feel Schadenfreude that Crapcom blew it with performance and microtransactions.

Edit:
Mostly Negative (36% of 3772 reviews).

I predicted that while Itsuno and his team would do his best, crapcom would sabotage them.

Everything indicate that this is mostly Itsuno's fault. It seems that in his mind DD1 is already near perfect and he needs to do the bare minimal to improve a winning formula. Even though as I said before DD1 was a 7.5/10 game and a complete jankfest.
