16 days and 20 hours. I used a week's worth of paid vacation for this. It's been a long time since I've done that for a game.

Actually it might be the first time I've ever done that. I can't remember taking more than like 3 days off for a game.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
There are two Capcom showcases. Both at around 15-20 minutes each. One is on March 7, the other on March 11. Feel like the last chance of demo announcement. Itsuno did say to keep an eye out.

Also a Microsoft partner stream with Capcom present tomorrow. I doubt it will be there if a Capcom thing is happening though.

IGN piece is up, this bit on frame rate:
While the gameplay was amazing and I can’t wait to get back to play more, there was one concern I’ve seen the community curious about: the uncapped framerate on console. When looking at this it should be noted that I’m playing a version which Capcom clearly states is “still in development, and is not equivalent to the final product.” But in this build on PlayStation 5, Dragon’s Dogma 2 was averaging around 31 frames per second with dips during heavy moments of action while playing with the PS5 set to output at 4K. I did not get to test at lower base revolutions or VRR during my time to see if that had a positive impact on performance however, if I had one hope, it would be that Capcom added more options in the framerate department including, at minimum a capped 30 frames per second mode.

That said, the gameplay was so fun that it was hard to walk away focused on anything other than my genuine excitement to play more.

I just realized that Dragon's Dogma is going to be released in the year of the dragon. Coincidence? I think NOT!
So was the first one (2012)
So what you're saying is Itsuno purposefully delayed DD2 for 12 years so he could release it during the year of the dragon again.
We are speaking about the Japanese. Some individuals, like Miyazaki, don't allow blood type A to work with blood type B. It's only recently that the magic kingdom, which does not want to be tainted by foreigners, started selling stuff to the unwashed barbarians beyond the sea. Anything is plausible when it comes to them.

Shit so uncapped 30fps… I hope this gets more attention and they at least let us lock it to 30.

This looks way better than Elden Ring.
Would you say that FromSoftware FEARS Dragon's Dogma II?
FromSw is a juggernaut. They can release any shit and it will sell tons. But they will start to sell less and less because their new design philosophy is retarded (see Godskin Duo, Malenia).

In any case, FromSw is really an unknown entity which potentially has the capacity to reinvent itself (see Bloodborne, Sekiro).

So, I don't think they fear anyone at the moment.

However I think DD2's design philosophy is superior and the game will absolutly shit all over Elden Ring ... and it's a proper RPG with consequences.

Let's wait and see.

??? The first game barely even had a narrative or quests, it just suddenly ended at a seemingly arbitrary point and whichever NPC you had clicked on the most up to that point got kidnapped or something. Then you pressed one of two ending buttons. Where are you getting this idea that the sequel will be dramatically different in this regard when they couldn't even manage to equal the number of classes their previous game had?

Only 10 vocations is kinda disappointing especially when DDO have more vocations than this that they can simply copy.

Maybe it is a mistranslation *snort liquid cope*
They have to save some for the DLCs.
