We know that the multiplayer mode in several Dark Souls games has a massive security issue to the point where From Software had to shut down the servers, and it remains to be seen whether it works in Elden Ring.

No way in hell am I gonna start with Elex 2. Archolos recent release will just remind me too much of what PB used to be.

Some good info in this video. There will be more NPCs and dialog than all the Souls games combined, and they give you quests that sometimes change the world state. Also there's items that open secret areas similar to the Pharros Lockstones in DS2. The guy is a big Dark Souls fan and he thinks this will be From's best game yet, if the quality of the 10 hours he played stays the same throughout the full game.
