Well, it's a must buy if you like Souls games, but in that case I don't need to tell you that. If you are new, I would say give it a try. It seems that this game is the closest thing From Soft made to a modern ARPG (open world, crafting) so it should be familiar enough for you to get started and get a taste of the more esoteric aspects the series is known for.

D_X they never catered to PVP players. They always did everything they could to make invasions worse for the invaders, to the point where one might ask why not just remove the feature entirely. Have you even played those games?

I see from software still have to learn how to make proper hitboxes

Still light years ahead of the competition.

Now i never been a fan of souls games in general i dont think they are necessarily hard in fact they are mainly more unfair than hard.
Funny hitboxes.
Unavoidable spanking (Like in Ds when you cross the mist and you get stuck in the crossing animation and the goat demon murders you because you are stuck in that long animation).
Punishing gameplay (That would be fine if not that from soft gamrs have very funny hitboxes).
Many tho are looking forward for this game and i watched a whole 2h stream of gameplay fotage.
Personally i don't see the necessity of the open world what i saw is it being barren with the exceptions of ennemy encounter.
But souls fan may like the gamr i just found it not appealing to me.

It's a must buy if you like TWitcher 3, including quest compass and crafting. GOTY 2022!

And Witcher 3's combat and itemization are at the bottom of a barrel for action-rpgs, so it's not really a high bar to clear.

Witcher 3 itemization is horrible. But not even the dark souls one is good.

The whole point of Dark souls games is to beat those epic bosses with a stick, so good itemization is not needed.

More like: Hope and pray the funny hitboxes dont fuck you over and resort to exploits to win the toughest fights.

There are no hard fights in DS series, only weak players.

Dark souls was never hard as i said earlier it has just a flawed design that puts you in unfair situations but if were not for fucked over hitboxes or poorly placed encounters ((See the goat demon example i told before)) is rather easy to predict movements and pattern of attacks on ennemies because they tend to repeat over and.over.

They are sufficiently difficult for my bad reflexes.
Of course, most of it comes from unfair durations, sure. But does it really matter?

And you have strong options as well.

Eh, not sure I'd be able to complete it then. With the Soulsborne games at least you get to learn their traps and develop ways to beat/avoid them.

Not a bad thing for me. I'll never parry enemies and do such stuff with my reflexes. I'm happy that I don't have to do it to succeed.
