Lots of whiny bois with floppy tits in this thread. If anything, the mainline Soulsborne games, excluding DS2, are known for having extremely tight hitboxes and tough-but-absolutely-fair combat. Sounds like you turd-gobblers aren't capable of GITTING GUD and I'd say that's more the fault of your weak genetics than the games themselves.

Looking at you Mebrilia.
"REEEEEEEEE!!!"
Seriously, just come to terms with the fact that you're shit at it.

Also legit the most unfair Souls game by far is Dark Souls 2 with its incessant need to throw a metric shit ton of enemies at you for no reason whatsoever or 5head boss designs like the bum ass rat boss. Game had like 10 good ideas and 50 bad ones, but retards gonna retard.

Or just come to term to accept fair criticism about the game. I finished dark souls.. Never finished the third and honestly there is a lot of hitbox fuckery all around one must be blind or in copium to don't see that.
And because you played the game so much you also have to admit some istances are just broken. ((Goat demon anyone?))
Come on.. Accept some criticism.

I don't notice shit like i-frames or hitboxes and have never found any fromsoft game particularly difficult. I agree that vid posted looks bad but also if it were me playing I would've just dodged at the right time and never would have noticed it, no offense to the more aged posters here.

His timing was off, sure, but that hit-box is still bs. Why did they animate that tail to be lifted up during that move?

I think in From Soft games there is often a disconnect between the visuals and the mechanical consequences. Not just the hit-boxes but also, for example, having weak looking enemies dealing massive damage later in the game, large and heavy opponents being very agile etc. Sometimes it can contribute to the dream-like atmosphere of these games, but more often than not, it is just thoughtlessness.

I remember my first time playing through Bloodborne and encountering the Amygdala boss. In the second phase it rips its own arms off and uses them as a weapon. The moment that happened I thought to myself 'Ok, It's range just increased, I better get closer,' and it actually worked. It was one of the few times that I can recall where I could logically deduce a strategy based on what I saw, instead of just mindlessly learning the pattern.

What you see is what you get
rarely applies to Souls games.

So, you didn't play any of the games and are just regurgitating memes from reddit for cool creds. Updated my .txt
:positive:
Have played and beaten every single From Software Soulslike game. I have also played and beaten Ashen, Blasphemous, Code Vein, Death's Gambit: Afterlife, Demon's Souls, Hellpoint, Hollow Knight, Mortal Shell, Nioh 1&2, Outward, Remnant: From the Ashes, Salt and Sanctuary and The Surge 1&2.

So, you haven't played any of the games beyond the 20 minute point and are just regurgitating the talking points of seething retards on Twitter who, like you, are desperately attempting to compensate their infinite butthurt over their general lack of skill and ability to play the games and are super sadmad that other people can.

I have a bigboi job, but more importantly:

Imagine being on a forum specifically about playing a genre of games that is well-known for the time investment typically needed to complete them and then spending your time on that forum complaining about someone playing games.

Imagine saying Capra Demon is broken and at the same time believing to be good at the game.

Plus not to mention that environmental constraint is a legitimate part of encounter design. Never understand people who whine about some boss being unfair if they cannot fight with them in some huge empty flat room.

System requirements appeared on From's website but were removed. The minimum was the same as before, but this time they included the recommended specs as well:
https://old.reddit.com/r/Eldenring/comments/ss65mj/pc_system_requirements_on_fromsoftwares_website/
Those requirements seem insane, surely the game's minimum requirements can't be above Sekiro's recommended specs?

Yeah they don't seem realistic unless the game is insanely unoptimized. The minimum specs are higher than Flight Simulator's recommended specs, and FS is the most demanding game out there.

Reminder that this game is coming out for PS4. Any PC made in the last ten years is going to run it without issue. Min/recommended requirements are just copied down from the systems used to test the game, generally, they don't actually make any effort to see if it will run on something older than the machines they have in the office.
