For those who care, rogue streamers started playing this on twitch. Granted, the accounts got nuked, but full spoilers are gonna be in circulation from now on.

That shit is fake. Probably taken from the art book.

But it's elucidative enought to show they aped DS3 "seek the lords" motif, and even presenting those in the intro. Let's hope it's used to better effect this time. Again, the amount of DS3 influence in this is worrisome. Same classes, same stamina and weight system, and now same plot structure.

By the way, question for those who played the beta: is the barrel-rolling limited like in DS1, or total cheesy like in DS3 ?

Is it real? Is it fake? How did the guy get his hands on it if it was real? Why did he get banned if it was fake? Who gives a shit if the intro that I'm going to watch exactly once in full is a slideshow?

The fire spell in the first image looks pretty cool.
I wonder how pure spellcasting builds will fare in the game.
The closed network test kept sorcery builds as the magic damage build, but faith builds will have all three other damage types. So I guess miracle builds will become viable on account of fireball.

I'm probably overly optimistic, but after 2-3+ years of nothing but shit AAA releases, I've got all my hopes riding on this one.

If Elden Ring sucks, AAA gaming is officially dead to me and I'll develop all the games I want to play on my own, in a cave, with a box of scraps and javascript.

Once I get enough money, I'll probably hire someone else to program for me. My code is the byproduct of poorly understood youtube tutorials anyways.

There's no need for all that. Even if ER isn't all that great, there's always Starfield.
