You forgot Anex that can be used with agth for those who wants some translation (not accurately, but it's something).

Neko Project supports PC-88 games as well? I used M88 for those.

Never used agth, but I did use Anex at first and found the emulation options lacking compared to NPII's ones.

You're right about PC88 though, I also use M88 but thought NPII got backwards compatibility somehow. Thanks!

I've not read through the entire thread, but here are 2 emulators for systems not in the Recommendation list that still boast a number of great porn games rare JRPGs and adventure gems:
PC88/PC98:
NekoProject 2
FM Towns/Marty:
UNZ
I hope they are on your to do list for translation. abnaxus is busting my balls in the screenshot threads with all those pics from PC88/98 JRPGs. I need to know the plot in order to fully appreciate the h-scenes :obviously:

If we're going B-Side, might as well add blueMSX for the (duh) MSX... maybe SheepShaver for the old Macs (if ya want to play Spiderweb games and Realmz) as well.

You can play old spiderweb games running Windows 3.x in Dosbox too (or WinXP in a virtual machine).

BROS, Retroarch-mednafen-saturn core has been updated to 0.9.39.2, which means PAL games now work.
Borg Queen approves.

I used to have a PC-98 emulator downloaded which when playing the PC-98 versions of Wizardry 1-5 (the PC-98 ports feature better looking text because of the PC-98's dedicaded KANJI chip); anyway, the one I used would emulate the noise that the computer would make when acceessing the disk.

I downloaded a few of the PC-98 emulators but I can't get any that plays the disk sound... and I forgot which one it was I had used in the past.

also if you want japanese PC games (literal japanese PC) google "PC-98 .torrent" and root around the google search results until you find one that is 40gb's big. That one has the most seeds and i think it has every single game for every japanese PC.

It looks like there have been a bunch of commits to the libretro mednefen psx core for doing high accuracy polygons (no more wobble).

I think the only English Saturn game left that cannot be played at this point between SSF and Mednafen is Die Hard Trilogy. That's pretty awesome. Glitches still exist obviously with some games.

so, does the sound being sloooooooow and shit in CITRA does that mean it is because of slow processing speed?

you can have an i7 and depending on the game the voice will still stutter. The emulator is still new dude. Sound support has already been in it like 3 months or so.

You can check the fps with fraps or something like that but generally yes, do you have JIT enabled and are you running one of the chinese builds i linked?
but looking at your cpu i don't think this will ever be playable i only get full speed in most games if i have my I5 at over 4ghz, requirements will go down with time but you will likely still need a modern cpu.

is there a way to get Ocarina of Time to run at 60fps? I'm a noob at this
Run project64 or mupen64plus on any computer made in the past 10 years?

(not exaggerating, it ran full speed on my core2quad with 9600GT)

[unless you mean unlocking the internal frame rate so you don't get the slow downs the original hardware had, that's an option for the mupen core in retroarch]

I tried the master quest collection on the GC, but I prefer the N64 version with textures. In the GC version I also had some glitches in the inventory.

Btw, I tried The Godfather on pcsx2 but it has horrible issues like lights seen through the walls, also tried the Wii version, with more contenent but unplayable with xbox controller. I've got the console and those controller, but without the bar plugged in the pc it's useless.

Right, so i should just play the N64 version then? I really just want above 20 fps. I'm currently getting 26 fps with overclock.
