RPCS3 team dropping big update(s) in 3 days

hope that means we can FINALLY play PS3 exclusives because at this point PS4 remasters/rereleases might be better options sooner or later (ps4 having faster progress)

Rpcs3 is "playable" on a raspberry pi.
That's it for the performance gain video? Is this a joke?
EDIT: And they show a 30% fps increase on a apple m4 only.

I still don't understand how to configure and use vita3k. I tried to play Gravity Rush at native resolution, but fps dips frequently to ~10 even if the cpu/gpu usage is low. If I upscale at 2x or more, the game runs smooth as butter, with fps fixed to the max.

Guys, I need some help. My PS Vita has been collecting dust, so I decided to get an SD2VITA adapter with a 128GB card, reformat everything, install RetroArch to use it as an emulation device. Everything works well, except that any rom hacks that I have don't show up in the playlists, what gives? For example, my SNES folder has a few Super Metroid rom hacks, but they are completely ignored by RetroArch. They can be loaded manually, but I'd prefer them to show up in the playlist. Is there any way to make this happen?

The default scan option matches the files against a database so only valid official releases are listed. A manual scan ignores that limitation. I'm not sure if there's an easy way to just have it werk regardless and have everything show up neatly categorized.

shadPS4 emulator
Bloodborne on PS4. 1440p, 120fps hack.

Actually it works really well. You need 1.09 goty version. Some mods to fix some issues and it barely crashes here and there. Graphics wise it is 95% there with original and doesn't even have any shader stutter as you play. performance on my 5800X3D is from 40-80fps depending on place.

what's your PC spec to be able to run this?

ShadPS4 is really well optimized and it should work good even on worse cpus.

Always heard it was more gpu bound until the dlc which relies more on cpu.
I get -decent- performance out of a 2070 super and 3900x but get some stutters here and there. Hunter's Nightmare is worse but I switched to main build and it runs a bit better.

I remember it barely working just like a year ago and now it play BB almost 100% good.

If they fix face vertex explosions, crash here and there it will be amazing. Finally proper PC bloodborne with proper framerate and resolution instead of that sub 30fps choppy mess it was on ps4.

1440p and above resolution patches resulted in random freezes when hitting enemies for me, even with the sfx patch when I last tried the emulator a few weeks back. I'd clear a small area and think it was fine before crashing again, aside from resolution patches also being really finicky in when they'd put me in the rainbow dimension. I definitely want it to be more stable before giving it a real go.

yeah, tried playing more 1440p and it barely crashes but it breaks lod geometry if you travel through level. simple relogin main menu -> game fixes it but 1080p is the way to go. Since i switched to 1080 no crashes no problems with lods or geometry.

If you have a good setup its already better IMO. Even with the issues now it feels so much better on pc than having to load up the console.
