The funny part of this was the indie dev how says:

On Steam, every time we launch a game, we spend 5-6 hours trying to get streaming to the page working, updating the store is a nighmare, build uploading has to be done my a member of our engineering team.

As someone who is just an amateur developer and working with the Steam store, let me say that if you can't manage the steam backend, just turn on your gamedev license and get the fuck out of here. Uploading a build has to to be done my an engineer? Jesus Christ, have these people seen a computer in their life? You have one command line, which is always the same and you just have to run that every time you want to upload a new build! And even that was made stupid proof, because now you can just browse the folder of your new build and upload.

Streaming to the front page is also quite easy, it is basically automatic if you set your account into broadcast mode. Oh, and the Epic store doesn't even have streaming to the page AFAIK, so nice job complaining about it on Steam.

It's for Chinese New Year but tencent probably told them not to draw attention to it.. The Lunar New Year sale on Steam starts the same day (which is also dumb because the only lunar calendar that it lines up with is CHINESE)

You can make a real game now without knowing how to code on your own. Supposedly the guy(s) who are releasing Bright Memory made the entire game using Unreal Engine's "Blueprint" system which doesn't require any coding. Don't know how true that is but it's something they've mentioned quite a lot.
