About PvE access - we decided to just open it for EoD owners for free, but we will do it in waves. As I said before - we don’t have server capacity right now. We will start this process as soon as possible

We also decided that we will add MOD support for PvE mode after release of the game

About the Unheard edition - we will not remove it, we want to keep the option for those who want to support the game more. But we will balance items, perks in this edition, as well as we will provide more rewards for those, who upgraded with the old price

New EoD perks will be balanced too. We will remove prioritized matching option to keep everyone in the same spot. And we will add more unique stuff to highlight the EoD version in general. We will provide the final list of the new EoD perks asap

short answer: no.
in the first place you have to pay a lot of money to get decent storage without having to play over 9000 hours to unlock it in game, second there's a fuckton of cheaters, you'll be getting instakilled a lot by them, invalidating your time spent unfairly. this game is more about fighting various tedious system and nothing at all like being a badass operator looting unless you have 2000+ hours in it.

So you just need to invest 2000 to 9000 hours and you are set

Since the devs like to hike price for another uber edition, like they did with unheard, dethroning EoD, if you want to keep up with jonesses, expect to dish out a lot of money in future. As for the game, if you like grind and looter shooters then that's the game for you. If you solely like PvP, arena will be better.

If you're going to try it, do so with a standard account. Everyone needs to suffer the pain of levelling up Jaeger without the rep boost first (which honestly is way more of a p2w feature than any of the crap you start with).

Like others said, the game is extremely time consuming. Nothing quite like it, but it is not something you can just casually hop into -- even if you're a veteran, it takes a lot of time.

It's hard to believe how bad they are at self-owning any time they manage to earn back a bit of trust from the community.

I haven't played in like a year+, but they seem to be doing some things right this wipe. (Like not making it easy for nolifers to get absurdly rich early on selling Hideout upgrade requirements on the flea in the first weeks/month.)

i mean, this is just my opinion, but a lot of the zest of tarkov is lost in not dealing with actual humans (i get not wanting your progress to reset if you don't have much time though)

isn't that the one that a bunch of people did paid sponsorships for when bsg was burning down their remaining goodwill that went absurdly p2w after early access

Arena breakout is literally a tarkov clone, devs stole the code and assets from bsg. It also has heavy p2w, pay to skip grind, pay for convenience, whatever you call it, with tarkov you pay it once, arena has some subscription model. It runs better and looks slightly better though as its unreal engine but has typical unreal frame time spikes. Thr moment i saw paid stuff i yeeted out of the game.

It sucks. For extraction shooter Helldivers 2 is better. For pvp Warthunder is better. For realism Squad is better. The main problem is that the developers are so unbelivable slow to add features. They don't deserv a nickle.

Helldivers is dope, but I wouldn't play it solo. It's got some of the energy of a party game, the joys of accidental teamkilling and all that, if for a very different audience.
